Ok Barry supporters and haters how do you feel about Barry being indicted for 4 counts of purgery (5 years for each count) and one count of obstruction to justice(10 years plus 3 years of supervision)?

I didn't like it when Clinton was charged with perjury because he lied about getting head & I don't like Bonds getting indicted on perjury charges because he took drugs.
You want to take away his records? Fine. You want to put the behind bars? I have a problem with that.

No, but Barry Bonds doesn't play this fictional game. He plays baseball under the same general rules as every player before him since they moved the mound back. Which was like a hundred years ago.
Lying to the feds is pretty big stuff, but I understand it's nearly impossible to convict someone of perjury.
Deffo sucks that no team is going to sign him now. He was gonna be awesome this year as a DH.

I guess taking steriods/or HGH was an unwritten rule back in the 90's.

No, I believe he took them. I just don't care. Other players took them. Players from other eras cheated.
Still the greatest player anyone here will ever see.

Not exactly perjury or obstruction, but something negative.
You can't cheat and get away with it, especially if your a professional athlete that thousands/millions of children idolize.
If you show children that you can get away with cheating what does that do to their beliefs.

What you just wrote is exactly what is wrong with society. People think they are above the law. Have I ever broken the law? Yes. The difference is that I understood that if I got caught I would have to fully take responsibility for my own actions and decisions. Have I gotten caught before? Yes. \
Bonds, and many of his counterparts, deem themselves above the law. If he didn't then why did his lawyers make such assanine comments challenging the anyone and everyone to prove Bonds guilty? Bonds is getting what he deserves, plain and simple. You knowingly lie and get caught then deal with it. The only person Bonds is fooling is himself, and people like VinnyTheMick.
