Always been the case. Last season we had no business going to 6 against a mediocre hawks team, going to 7 against the Sixers (won a game in Boston without Embiid), got embarrassed by the heat the first 3 games because they played with a lack of effort and energy until the impossible scenario occurred. Team wins off talent but doesn’t get down and dirty often
The level of arrogance from the key guys on this team never ceases to amaze me.
It’s been a thing for years.
Saw it in the bubble against Miami then almost shat the bed against Miami before **** the bed against the Warriors and then shat the bed again last playoffs.
Yet Tatum etc insist on strutting around like they’ve done something.
