Like I said, when the Cs raise Banner 18, a lot of crows will lose their lives.

The Cs will be at their best next season, but they're good enough to win it this year.

I'd love to be wrong but I don't see it. The core is always too immature and the coaching isn't good. If you're right I will personally address you afterwards. I do like your positivity. Sadly I don't have it with this group.

Actually they don't have more talent, which is one of the reasons why this one stings so much. They suck big time, and this will possibly be the highlight of their season.

Hopefully, Mazzulla will change the offense hierarchy even slightly. I have renewed hope for our beleaguered coach, Bird Brain, after he pulled Brown.

Or Kobe. Nice player but no killer instinct and not a leader. And Brown… another nice player who is inconsistent and not someone you can count on in a big game. Aau has made these guys soft

I find it funny when posters try to blame the role players like Porzingis, White and Jrue. This is 100% on Tatum and Brown. They are the stars. They set the tempo and lead or fail to lead in this case. They have the ball in their hands most of the time so they need to play with energy and focus.

The role players all struggled but I thought Brown looked similar to game 7 of the ECF. His game just unravels if he can't get it going shooting. He needs to find other ways to contribute when his shot isn't falling. I give Mazzulla huge kudos for pulling Brown late in the game. Probably more impressed with that than anything else he has done up to this point

Big ups to Hauser and Queta who played with energy and focus though.

Jayson Tatum is one of the most useless scorers in the first 10 minutes of game. Rarely does he come out and attack to start games. The first 6 minutes every **** time he stands in the corner and lets others shoot and then gets subbed. It will be like at some point in the second quarter where he gets going before again playing lazy af as well as the rest of the team most of the third quarters.

Tatum’s first quarters just pisses me off lol. No wonder he hardly explodes when it comes to scoring because he legit takes quarters off.

Brown is just overrated. Always has been. Peaked in 2022 mainly during those playoffs. His advance stats are always garbage for an all star and shows he’s hardly impactful out on the court.

If they don’t get it done, break those two apart. Neither of them have gotten better this season compared to years past.

It’s become more than the first quarters with Tatum.

It’s like he’s obsessed with not being perceived as a ball hog.

I’m sorry but this team should start with and finish with Tatum offensively.

Worry about the other guys getting their shots within the flow off the back of whatever attention Tatum draws.

One thing if Tatum was playing with KD and Beal who are natural scorers. I love DWhite and like what Jrue brings but Tatum needs to stop deferring to them. I just hate the approach he has to start games standing in the corner. The best player needs to dominant with the ball, make plays off his aggression. Tatum is screwing himself with these slow starts.

How much of a factor is this team having that much talent vs how they are being coached, being the reason why they are at the top of the league on offense and defense?

I hate to agree with Barkley on this, but I truly feel this team just wins on talent in most games, and Joe is just lucky to have this much talent on his roster. But mental toughness? Effort on defense? Nah.

Any realist would agree with this it's only the soft excuse makers that don't..

Stupid offense. Jrue literally posted up Reaves back to back for an easy 2. Porzingis had it easy inside as well, yet we still camp outside the arc waiting to chuck a 3. This is on the coach. Next to blame would be Tatum. What a weak ass performance for a supposed superstar. He was even having a hard time posting up reaves. Sick of his euro step, when even nobody is even infront of him, he still find ways to euro step and put up a weak ass layup jeez. He bulked up yeah, but his mentality remained soft. We can’t win with JT playing like this every other game.

On one hand, the Cs have proven that when healthy and locked in, they can beat anybody (or compete with anybody) on any given night. (See league-leading record.) On the other, there are games like this that they don't take seriously. That's when such things as shooting luck, variance, and bogus shots going in come into play and we lose. Or god forbid, inopportune injuries come into play.

The folks with the green goggles on don't understand the frustration. This team gets by and leads the league in the standings based on talent alone. Imagine how much more potent they would be if they had more focus, mental toughness and all that.

Been saying this for a while now. There’s a reason they are under .500 against the top teams, and 2-4 against the top 4 in the West. One win coming against a Kawhi less Clippers. They aren’t winning when they don’t overwhelm teams with talent. It’s getting more and more visible as the season progresses.
