I appreciate where he's brought this team, but I'm still not in on Thibs. I don't trust him for the same reasons we haven't all along - winning like this makes it feel awesome, but I don't feel like anything has changed in that regard. It's not like he hasn't been in this exact position before getting the best out of an all-NBA lead guard and a bunch of dogs, looking like the best team in the league.

But man, Brunson is literally a transcendent NBA player. I don't know if I'll ever fully accept it. He's one of the single digit number of players in the league who impact winning no matter what their stat line looks like (though they're usually nice). The kind of player that changes the trajectory of an entire franchise simply by who he is and how he plays. And he's ours. He's a Knick. WTF.
