I feel bad for Oladipo, he's had so many issues and played so few games since being a promising 2-time all-star back in 2018-2019. I di admire that he's sticking with it and still trying to rehab and get back on the court after all these years, the constant injuries must be demoralizing.

Weird trade for Houston unless you think Adams will come back to form after missing 2 full seasons and undergoing multiple surgeries.

Not sure this is the move Udoka wanted lol, but I don't mind it for Houston. They are completely revamping their culture and by all accounts Adams is a terrific teammate.

This is a hope from me. I honestly think he would fit there, it's the cost that I think will be the determining factor.

They need to really hit on this pick AND start drafting out their depth or they're gonna stagnate badly and all you'll hear non-stop is about getting Ja out of Memphis....so good luck to the Grizz OR it's Viva Las Vegas time & the Grizz will be no more! lol *kinda what I see happening one way or the other tbh

I hear good things about the Pacific Northwest..
Sure could use another team out that way..

Ziaire+Kennard is an exact match salary-wise for Yak. Not sure how either team would value that kind of trade though.

Damn. I was hoping the Rockets would put a bid in for poetl. They probably wanted to go with the lower priced option and more physicality to offset Sengun's game. Would've been nice to see poetl on Houston tho. Plus the assets we'd get.

I'm guessing that OKC is the only viable destination for him now. Unless I'm forgetting someone.. the other teams that need a C dont need one as good (or as expensive) as poetl.

Perhaps, but Memphis is trying to lower their tax bill next season.

Brandon Clarke will be their next sacrifice

Their big three wil be owed almost 100M next year combined. I do think they plan on keeping Clarke and will have him play next to JJJ. I am not sure about his contract details, but I do believe he is on a good contract from what I remember. I think Smart may be the one traded as he would yeild a good package in return.

Pretty sure the Grizzlies will need a new starting center...

They'd better hope that Adams is back to 100% next year.

I really like the deal for the Rockets, and the 3 2nd's is fair cost, but I don't think they negotiated that well given how the Grizz also benefit from this.

I suspect in the end the Grizz were being difficult and the Rockets just said **** it, Adams makes sense, the cost is minimal, lets make the deal before somebody else - you don't want to regret not getting something done over one or two seconds.

They already got a nice core of 6 young players who I assume will mostly be around next year - Sengun, Whitmore, Eason, Smith, Thompson, Green. Getting quality veterans like Adams is what they really need - makes more sense than a Jeff Green.

Yes, but they will need to get their stuff together regarding the 2024/2025 payroll first. If they can clear some more stuff out before summer / this summerthen maybe they come after someone like Poeltl. But until then they are not coming after him ...certainly not making a move for him this year.

Rockets are in an interesting place. I wonder if they've considered trading Green and salary for Dejonte Murray. I'm a strong believer in Murray. I think his perceived value is way too low. I get the feeling it's basically impossible to be flourish as a guard with Tre young. In fact, I'd love to see him on the raps tbh. I think him and Scotty might have great chemistry.

I have a gut feel that whoever gets Murray will make out like bandits. He'd look great on the Hawks. Green is brutal.

Fred, Murray and Brooks would be extremely hard to play against.
