Worst game thread in (my) memory, both in terms of volume and accuracy.
No one's faulty of course; I know we're all sort of in "meh" mode or stunned mode with the Embiid injury. I for one didn't watch the game or participate in game chat-- but it's kind of funny seeing a 1-page game thread after a Maxey 51 point performance in a Sixer home win.

Just watched the second half, and wow, Maxey is something else. We have the opportunity, if the right moves are made between now and next summer, to have something really special here next season.
If 40+ minutes and playing the entire second half while carrying the team is going to be the norm moving forward, Maxey will be a dead man walking by April.

Someone needs to convey that to Nurse immediately. Dude coaching like he's on the hot seat when he just got his job.

Maxey is tied for the league in MPG at 37.5 with Luka....Kevin Durant and DeRozan (both in their mid 30s) are playing 37.3 MPG.Jayson Tatum is 11th in the league at 35.9 MPG. Mikel Bridges is 21st at 35.1 MPG.
Maxey is also very young and is a smaller guard. Those guys can go forever. I think his MPG is a bit overblown. Sure, he needs rest and he'll get it, but as of right now I'm not concerned about him playing too many minutes. Not when. He's barely ahead of DD and KD.

its more so the fact that he is the only ballhandler/shot creator.

He definitely needs some help in that area. Even Iverson had Snow and Mckie. I'd settle for us getting Maxey an Aaron Mckie at this point.

Yeah, the only other ball handler Nurse seems to trust is Pat Bev and he’s 35 with an extensive injury history.

I admit I was scared to watch last night, and I doubted. Never again, Lord Maxey, never again.

Almost all the guys on that list are guys who do almost none off-ball play outside of Bridges.
When you combine the minutes with the distance run per game you can see why Maxey's shot has started to get affected IMO

Part of the problem is our backup PG Melton has been out with a mysterious injury for awhile. Overall the injuries are too much to overcome. Need guys to get healthy.

You guys should watch the first quarter if you think Markkanen is playable against the Celtics, let alone empty the asset chamber for him. He would make us a better team because his offensive game is so well rounded and he gives you rebounding too but his defense is just so terrible. Tobias was flat out hunting and cooking him and he was terrible off ball too. A hard pass for me given his value on the market.
