The Magic don't play another game this season with a tip time later than 8:00pm ET.

And they only play 5 more 8:00pm tips total.
I think that's a big key. The travel miles take a toll on you. Less time in a plane could possibly keep us healthier. Plus, we can get into a routine with games starting around the same time.

Coaches in the NBA are largely bad. The coaching in college is much much better. That's why year in and year out so many coaches get canned. Look at this year how many guys are getting fired. It's a hard job I would imagine and it's probably because of the politics and salaries and owners hamstringing coaches with bums on large contracts that need to get played.

Mosley can get a group of young players to sacrifice and defend. I will credit him that but that's not the only part of the job. The offense is gross.. it has been gross all year and it's because of him. I'll give my personal guarantee that the next coach (because there is going to be a next coach) will use some of these players differently (especially Banchero).
Disagree. I'm taking the other extreme, I think Mosley will take us to the promised land and be our version of a franchise coach. Your take is more probable, but mine just feels right. Mosley is a great coach.

Agreed! Mose has proven that he deserves to both be able to be there for the development and the success of this team! Let's not forget that there was a stretch before aaaaaaallllllll the injuries that this team was one of the top teams in the East.... while being one of the youngest. A young team that is still growing!

And I you still think that there is no experimentation going on ... and every game is predicated on win win win.... I think that notion might be wrong. This year is an evaluation year just as much as any other. As the players buy in more and more.... experience more.... fail and succeed.... they are going to get better. And in the end certain changes will be made.

And guys this is a league of runs... mismatches.... and even if the team sucks ... some of them have great talent on them as well. Wemby is an intimidating individual in the paint.... one of the locations that we have the most success. So just figuring out that part to succeed was impressive. If they played in the paint as much as well as much and as well as they did in this game... we would be that much better. They took the lead early.... people were probably mad and wanting heads to roll.... then we erased that lead and made a substantial one of our own.... and everyone probably sang praises ... and then they made a run to tie.... we suck again "where's the axe".... and we pulled away to win the game .. and no one cares cuz they are still mad. Hahah

Let's not act like last summer people weren't willing to trade multiple players of value and picks for either vassell or wemby. Lol

Wemby was careless. Isaac stuck with it. Amazing play all around. Wemby is going to be as good as people think he is. I think his (Wemby) biggest issues will be self awareness and injury prevention.

I say self awareness because when you are that taller then everyone else you have to have a self confidence issue of "playing amongst kids" who are smaller then you can be falsely calming.

All away wins are good wins, but man, Spurs are so bad outside of Wemby and even he is so raw offensively and his shot selection is wild.

Another game where the defence struggled initially then Isaac came in and since then we were excellent on that end.

If we are going to play Fultz so many minutes, he should handle the ball more because he is utterly useless offball. Why even play him if he won't touch the ball on 90% of the offensive possessions? Against a terrible team like the Spurs we can get away with it (though the offense still struglled mightily at times, especially Wemby was on the court) but any decent team would exploit this.

Why? He’s been amazing this season.
Because you'd be surprised how many fans don't see it that way.....other teams fans will say he's been inefficient and bring up stats but yet, conveniently leave out the part where he's being doubled and sometimes tripled every game

Oh, that’s what you meant!!! My goodness. It sounds like people last year crying about how his stats weren’t good enough to win ROTY.

I could've sworn Carter is 6"10. If he's legit 6'8, that kinda change how I see him vertically. :-?

Naaah i watched Duke a lot and there was no way he was a legit 6'10 barefoot. Juat below 6'9 so 6'10 with shoes.

No woner he made a lot of noise about being a PF despite his body qeight being a heavy C. He just cant with the average C in the league which are 6'10 barefoot at least.

That's probably the reason why he can't stay healthy consistently. Too much physicality and not being the right size to take the matchups will present some issues as it has with WCJ. Thanks for the info.

Yeah... couldn't understand why he doesn't lose at least 15-20 lbs so he would be more mobile and have a higher jump.

Also to be fair, some of his health issues aren't really his fault. Opponents poked his eyeballs and he broke his hand when he fell. Not really the same as ankle, acl and etc

You're right that some injuries are unavoidable in any sport. Players I hope will do everything possible to stay healthy as possible. Sometimes, the durability of some players are stronger than others. Sometimes some freak injuries will happen. It's all part of sports.

As for WCJ needing to trim down some weight, it could do him some good towards improving his quickness, technique, energy, and strength. Perhaps his durability can improve some.
