You don’t think they bring back Wagner to finish his career in Seattle? He’ll be a lot cheaper than Queen that’s for sure. Even if Queen does go to Seattle if I’m the Cowboys I would go after Wagner. Queen is younger with more upside however he’s not the leader that Wagner is. As a Cowboys fan I would prefer Queen but would settle for Wagner.

Wagner will turn 34 later this year. He's a step slower. He's become a liability in coverage. They need to get faster LB's. Speed. Especially with the new Defense that they'll be using. I would be very surprised if they brought Bobby back.

Yeah. The Seahawks games I watched - I saw slippage.

It’s a young man’s league. And 34 ain’t young.

There's an old belief that if you have older, slower LB's, than you'll ultimately have a slow defense. Which was a key issue for them. They we're like dead last in time of possession this past season. Because the defense couldn't get off the field, especially on third down. It was a killer.

If Dan Quinn leaves I expect the Cowboys to promote Joe Whitt Jr (Defensive Passing Game Coordinator) to DC. I initially thought they might promote Al Harris however I believe he said recently that wherever Quinn goes he goes. Also Whitt has ties to McCarthy.

I would love for the a cowboys to take this guy. Unfortunately it won’t happen though. You can’t draft 1 tech in back to back drafts, they have too many other holes to fill.

Word is the Cowboys are considering Mike Zimmer, Mike Vrabel, or Ron Rivera. They would prefer to promote Joe Whitt Jr. Diggs is campaigning for Al Harris. You are expected to leave with Quinn though.

Personally I prefer Vrabel but I have a feeling it’s going to be Zimmer.

Vrabel wasn't great as a DC in Houston. He's more of a culture/figure head type. I'm not sure that would be the best hire. A better head coach than coordinator.

Zimmer would be a good hire I think.

If they sign Vrabel be of two things can happen. Either he’ll coach good enough to take over for MM or it will be an epic fail in which case the entire coaching staff will be replaced.

Jerry Jones says he is 100 percent behind Mike McCarthy, and when asked would have no problem working with Bill Belichik.
He knows exactly what he is saying.
Also saying "We will go as far as Dak Takes us"
So he,s pressuring them both.If Mc fails say hello to Trey Lance, and Bill Belichik, who would work with either Dak or Trey np.

I'm starting to think it could be possible that Belichick is actually still available after next season.

We go "all in". Jerry retires. Stephen hits the reset button on everything. Belichick hired.

Only thing is, Bill is getting old.

Ok here is another “in house” name I’m hearing a lot that could be promoted to DC. Aden Durde (current DL coach). Most believe that Joe Whitt is going to Washington with Quinn to be his DC. From my understanding he won’t be able to take Al Harris with him. There’s a chance that Harris gets promoted to passing game coordinator in Dallas under Aden Durde.

Not sure if this is true or not but apparently Rob Ryan is also interested in the Dallas DC job.

It sounds like some of you want to move on from Micah.

Looks like DK is trying to recruit him.

No, that's too much. You'll get a 1st (16th overall) & possibly a 3rd rounder as part of the deal. That should be more than fair compensation.

The point of my post was mostly to try to get Bjj's attention. He must be traveling or something because he's been dead silent about the Quinn news lol. Very unusual behavior from him.

Not for the best pass rusher in the league you’re not getting him for a 1st and a 3rd. Micah will likely be franchised when his contract is up. That’s two 1st round picks at least if Seattle wants him. I would ask for two 1st’s and Zach Charbonnet, if not you can kick rocks.

That's alright. You can't blame a guy for trying lol.

What if we throw in Jamal Adams?

There's speculation that Jamal might actually retire. The injuries have taken a toll on him. I think we're actually done giving up draft picks after that debacle of a trade. Especially now that Carroll is gone. There really is no need to try to make win now type of moves. Although Micah would look pretty damn good on this team in Mike Macdonald's defense.
