Isaac, we dont win without his defense
Franz, missed all his threes, but played well otherwise on both sides of the court
Paolo, bad defense and only 1 rebound

Wendell Carter for me. His rebounding and baskets late helped us win the game

Isaac gets this for me. Crucial tip-9’, plus he basically affected the whole 4th quarter by zoning out KAT.

Tough one. Hard to give it to Paolo as he was horrendous on D most of the game. Nobody really stood out offensively. It was just a gritty defensive win.

Went with Franz for great defense and being +12.

I'm conflicted. JI was the real difference maker but only played 20 minutes. Franz did what he needed to do on both ends of the floor (other than make 3's). Paolo was efficient but his defense was subpar the first half. Jalen had his moments and WCJ had a good game too.

Think I'm going to go with the limited minutes difference maker.

JI
Franz
Paolo/Suggs/WCJ tied for 3rd

It was close btwn Isaac & Franz, both played outstanding defense

Isaac's defense was just on another level though, I went with Isaac

If Isaac wins, he gotta be the lowest scoring Sweater Vest winner ever right?

Vest - Isaac
Monster defense, gives confidence to teammates.

Cummerbund - Franz
Game was quite efficient, contributed everywhere. Put defensive pressure on MIN.

Mittens - Paolo
ALL STAR PLAYER goes 23 and 6 dimes on 50 FG%, 1-1 3PT, and we thought it was a subpar game, lol. Because it probably was that, with the defense and boards not too hot tonight.

I probably misplaced WCJ outside of the top 3 but usual disclaimer, it's almost always more of a team effort win. Jalen had his moments too.

Delle - 18/12 is nothing to scoff at and I think he earned the recognition tonight
Suggs - good pressure on the ball all night and hit some very timely 3s.
Isaac - I feel like at some point this will be the new norm for him and I’ll stop overreacting to whatever minutes he plays…but I honestly can’t remember a player so impactful on defense to ever wear a Magic uni.. Yes - Dwight changed the way teams played but there’s a different cerebral component to JI’s defense that seems to get in player’s heads…like he’s just a step ahead of them on that end of the court and they know it. He’s not relegated to the paint, he can essentially defend any position so it’s like he’s inescapable. Even better is that it’s contagious - the team locks in when he’s on court

Isaac
Suggs
WCJ

Paolo/Franz was solid, but the defensive play of those plays impacted this game more. Franz defense was nice too.

Isaac
Franz
Paolo

Honestly, all three are kind of tied as they each contributed in different ways, but this is not a win without Isaac’s defense that one stretch. It flipped the entire game.

Cannot comprehend what sport people are watching to think Wendell was a positive in this game. He got destroyed inside.

Franz was 0-5 from three and didn't shoot well, Paolo had only one rebound.

WCJ shot efficiently, had 12 rebounds, and played solid team defense. Nobody is really guarding Gobert under the basket, but he and Isaac made KAT work a lot, who was his assignment, not Gobert.

Gobert was giving Paolo the business mostly.

Wendell has his warts, but I thought he played well for the most part tonight.
