Hawks/Thunder not new

Bertans
one of the 24 1sts -- each of you can pretend its the one you think is right.

for

Capela

Hawks cash out, turn the job over to OO, get a pick and financial relief

Thunder get a center to play behind Chet, can steal some minutes together. Upgrade for a playoff push.

Seems too obvious for both right?

I do think Atlanta would prefer a future protected first for flipping purposes, but Capela does likely need to go.

Yeah I’d rather it would be in a future draft but would still probably do it, hawks need to find a backup C though behind Okongwu….preferably a bigger guy that can hopefully defend/rebound.

This looks good let me complicate it.

Bertans, Poku, Tre Mann, 2nd worst 2024 1st (currently 27), 2025 PHI 1st (top 20 prot- added, 3 2nds if not conveyed) for Capela, Saddiq Bey, Wes Matthews

OKC gets a good veteran in Wes and two good rebounders/tougher players.
