Nets trade DFS and Dinwiddie
TO
Thunder
for Giddey, Bertans, Poku, Mann, and a future first round pick
DFS and Dinwiddie give the Thunder a couple of vets to be added to this young Thunder squad. DFS adds 3&D, plays frontcourt positions, and rebounding. Dinwiddie gives the Thunder some combo guard play from off the bench play an expiring contract.
Giddey proves playmaking, play multiple positions in the backcourt and wing position. The Nets get to invest into Giddey's potential to grow into a better player for the future. Bertans contract in the offseason is partially guaranteed as a team option. Poku and Mann will be investments for the Nets to help develop their skills set to fit into the Nets scheme.

Depends on what 1st, but I’d likely say yes. If probably attempt to include Day’Ron Sharpe as well as OKC could use some size. I think OKC and Brooklyn are natural trade partners.

Re: Nets/Thunder
I don’t think Brooklyn wants Giddey. Honestly I don’t think any team wants Giddey at the moment.
You’d have to re-do this without Giddey and define which 1st it is in order to determine the fairness of this deal.

Re: Nets/Thunder
Take out Dinwiddie, swap Giddey for some kind of late pick. DFS should be somewhat interesting for OKC, but not a top priority. They should add a rebounding big first.

No interest in Dinwiddie.
Poku, Tre Mann, 2024 HOU 2nd, 2025 MIA 1st (lotto prot) for DFS
Or
Bertans, Poku, 2nd worst 2024 1st (currently 27), 2024 HOU 2nd, 2025 MIA 1st (lotto prot) for DFS, Royce
Other versions with Cam, Mikal, Claxton, etc

Re: Nets/Thunder
Giddeys value is highly variable. I’m still high enough on Giddey to not do the OP.
I would do a FRP for DFS, basically what MoneyTalks said.
While we’re at it - any chance we can work Bridges in there for ++++picks? If not, why aren’t the Nets trading Mikal?

My current dream deadline (which has a zero percent chance of happening) is Mikal and WCJr.
