Addition by subtraction for Bulls

$60m in dead weight on their books between LaVine and ball

No one in their right mind will trade for LaVine and think they are buying low.

I would trade the poo poo platter that are our expiring contracts for him, and trust in our medical team. Bonus: he can’t hurt the tank this year.
I believe in Masai.

Brutal for them. Bonus for the Raps and their returns for Bruce Brown/Dennis Schroeder. A fan can hope.

Not trading Lavine during the offseason where he came off a healthy season was a boneheaded move by the Bulls

Did anyone's trade value just sky rocket? Maybe Caruso?

Wow, I know his value was supposedly low, but this low? Crazy.

They probably opted for mid-season surgery because all they were getting offered for him was poo poo platters. It's not a new injury so he probably would have played through it if he was traded.

Not sure what their plan is though. Are they going to try and feature him next year to up his value or just hope more teams come to the table in the off-season?

Bulls should probably cash in on Caruso, trade DeRozan and Vuc for whatever they can get at the deadline and tank. This isn't making any sense anymore and hasn't for at least two years or so now.

Yeah, makes sense. I’m thinking it’s an offseason trade. Given that we’re 4 days away from the deadline I’m hoping to see some trades happening sooner than later - especially with wiggins, OG, Randle, Vanderbilt wnd others out.

What? Lord no. They should double down and feature DD. Trade future assets for Dennis, Brown, Gary and/or Poeltl.
