BOS in: Caruso, Drummond, Konchar
BOS out: Pritchard, Svi, Stevens, Banton, BOS 2024 1st, BOS 2026 1st, CHI 2024 2nd, DAL 2024 2nd
Upgrade Pritchard to Caruso, who you can be more confident playing in any matchup in the playoffs. Drummond/Konchar are both taken into the Grant TPE to help round out the depth on the roster after sending 4 guys out.
2 firsts sounds like an overpayment but when you consider they're likely 28-30th picks in the drafts, it's really not.
CHI in: Pritchard, Svi, Stevens, BOS 2024 1st, BOS 2026 1st, CHI 2024 2nd
CHI out: Caruso, Drummond
Realistically they'll be looking for more for Caruso (and possibly Drummond), but if there aren't better options it's smart for them to cash in while their value is at its highest. Our firsts are both going to be late, but they get control back over their 2nd this year when they're going to tank, which should mean it's relatively high.
If fed a ton of minutes, Pritchard will put up a lot of counting stats and could end up being a guy who gets flipped down the line to recoup even more value.
MEM in: Banton
MEM out: Konchar, DAL 2024 2nd
Konchar has been playing a lot better ever since he started getting 20-30 minutes with Ja out, but he still never fit for Memphis when they were fully healthy. They already made one salary dump move with Steven Adams, getting off Konchar's extension gives them more room, plus a flyer on Banton and a 2nd.
The Memphis bit of the deal isn't necessary, but I'm conscious that we'd need to get some additional depth in place after doing a 4 for 2 deal with Chicago.
