This entire anti-three discourse reminds me of the baseball debate that is now long dead and buried between the moneyball approach and the "manufacture a run" guys.

When KP is engaged, especially in the low post, this team is the best version of itself.
and that's "MR. Irrelevant" to you!!

Lobs to Porzingis have been getting higher and higher each time it happens.

KP's aim in these alley-oop attempts is off.

For me it’s situational. If you’re wide open and feeling it then sure. If it’s the same shot the opposition know is coming in a 2-1 or end of quarter/game scenario then no thanks.

However JT has been carrying injuries and/or run out of puff in May/June. I’d rather he preserves himself now, so long as he doesn’t take a lot of bad shots when it matters.

Only time will tell, but JT is only 25 and is amazing regardless.

Wow that was the worst possible way this quarter could have ended.

Please, "anti-3" is a strawman

Apart from exaggerations it's been a debate about what constitutes a good shot/offensive focus based on game situation

Thankfully coach Joe has been more flexible on this - doesn't hurt having a skilled 7'3" guy

When Boston inevitably builds a statue for Pritchard, it would be of him with both of his arms raised looking for a foul after a miss.

2nd to last game before the trade deadline. Underwhelming game from Pritchard/Hauser/Kornet/Brissett.

Pritchard and Hauser in particular haven't really done much.
Nothing wrong with having a different opinion - as long as it's done respectfully. It'd be lame if we all agreed on everything :)

I love pull-ups against the drop, it’s the way to break the scheme. The iso ones less so, unless he’s cooking. And to his credit, he’s taken much better pull-ups this season compared to last.

Just remember that 10 years ago, a large number of people genuinely did not feel embarrassed to say that baseball teams should hit singles and bunt guys over to the 2nd base instead of hitting homeruns.

Pritchard really struggled to bring the ball up against the knock-off Scottie Pippen.

No, you said he’s taken step back threes on those situations. That’s wrong, own it. Changing the goalposts is lame as hell.

He’s taken pretty easy mid rangers in those situations this year, has just missed them.

Your right. This isn't a step back but a great pump fake fade away 3 against GS..they went to OT

Were was good mid range you talked about? That's about as hard of a shot you can take.

So you found the one three he’s taken all season in those scenarios? I thought you said that’s the shot he’s taken all year??

Just admit you were wrong, it’s okay.

This was a month ago. So Tatum is just missing all high percetage shots? Im your world 1-7 is good...this is directly attributed to his shot selection and Joe running nothing

Tatum is shooting 33.3 percent in clutch situations, with the game within 5 points in the last five minutes, and he's 1 for 7 this season when the game is within 3 points in the final 30 seconds.Jan 20, 2024

I said he’s missing them. In your world, does that mean something good?

Again, just admit you were wrong.

Kornet with a fancy move against a 5'8 guy.

People so god damn stubborn lmao.

Admitting you’re wrong is admirable. That’s why I’m wrong so often, so I can show how humble I am.
