Go to nba.com

Sort defensive fg% inside 6ft

Do it for last year and this year and ‘21. Look up ihart and Mitch

You’ll be surprised. Just fyi the analytics data does not support (and never has) Mitch being significantly better defender.

You can sort iso, pnr, shots inside 6ft. I’ve looked at them all over the last 2 years.

what bench?

This man used a 6 man rotation,

he has NBA players on his bench, Jeffries, Taj, Fournie, Flynn…

he refuses to use them, to keep his starters fresh u til the end, blame him for them being gassed at the end

Knicks have a 10 man rotation. Problem is 3 of the bench players were starting. One (Grimes) was in street clothes. Then you got Deuce. The rest are not good enough to be in the rotation.

We were behind the 8 ball to start this game. Even so, we still won 9/10 and are looking like a very solid team that is a serious threat if everyone can get healthy. We aren't going to win every single game and the Message Board Coaching of shoulda/coulda isn't going to change the outcome on these type of games. Maybe Fournier helps...but maybe they target him and we're down double digits to enter the 4th. It is what it is...

So according your stat IHart is better than AD, Giannis. Chet, Wemby, Embiid and a half dozen other players who when watching the game present supreme paint intimidation but since your fetish stat says iHart is better than all them, that's what you are going to try and tell us? Good luck with that.

Lol seriously, how is he the king? He had 24 points and they barely won with us missing FOUR starters Mitch, OG, RANDLE AND Grimes.... that's insane

The ONLY King of NY is BruNYson

Aggo HATES Mitch... he does this back n forth EVERY season. It's well documented he flip flops on him mostly flops to his credit.

mitch can do a number of things that hartenstein cannot do. that goes both ways. mitch is way more of a lob threat, hartenstein can pass and has a solid hook and floater. ihart is relentless, but guys don't even wanna step to mitch at some point. that's why i think that if we're keeping both, you have to start mitch. that level of physical domination is more useful in the big time starter moments and hartenstein's skills are probably more useful in the meat and potatoes of the game

But you also have to consider their free throw ability in close game situations. Mitch is a huge liability at the foul line.

I’m all for starting Mitch but I hope the 3rd and 4th quarter is a game by game thing which is don’t trust Thibs with at all. He makes one rotation and dies with it until his hand is forced.

hartenstein unlocks brunson's and randle's game even further though since he is a threat on offense. and we still had the best defense in the league with ihart, og, randle, brunson. its a no brainer to me which one to start. our defense didnt really drop and we our offense is even better.

Well Known Fact: NOT watching games is the proven way to judge performance.

Watching games clouds the mind. Abstaining from viewing the contest eliminates subjective bias.
