17.9/9.6/4.5 per 36 on .625TS% would be a great offensively oriented back up big option to supplement Horford at this stage.

If they need D up front they have Al, if they need more scoring off the bench and to keep Al fresh it’s Saric. Benefits for him is he could slide right into that role Al has over time and eventually take it over.

It seems like you two agree on that.

Drummond couldn't hurt, he's a body. Saric is decent. Golden State and Chicago are wild cards, they should sell but might buy.

And can someone give the Atlanta Hawks an intervention? They're looking at trading Dejounte Murray because he's a "bad fit", but the whole roster is a bad fit, and there's no strategy to constructing it. Collins is gone but they found new ways to stagnate. Strangest treadmill team I've seen in years.

Hawks lineups with Trae and no Murray are +2.4 over 100 possessions, which is in the 65th percentile. They have 121.8 ORtg.
Trae and Murray together are -4.3 over 100, 18th percentile for ORtg and 15th percentile for DRtg. They are a disaster this season together.

Kispert went 0/7 from 3 tonight. On the plus side, he still managed to score 15 pts on 6/6 shooting from 2 and 3/3 from the free throw line.

Imagine that? A guy capable of making SIX shots from inside the arc in the same game, off the bench.

He also had 4 assists.

And over the past 15 games he's a respectable 38.1% on catch and shoot 3's. And that's while playing on a team with like no legit offensive weapons - he'd likely get much more open looks in Boston.
Nothing wrong with having a different opinion - as long as it's done respectfully. It'd be lame if we all agreed on everything :)

So with Murray they're bad and without Murray they're stagnating... they need a total overhaul.

Cody Martin is a name I'd forgotten about. They liked him last year, really affordable contract (like 7-8M), nice 3&D wing.

Stack Svi/Oshae/Banton/Lamar for Martin, use the TPE on Muscala or Drummond.. hope for a guy like Delon Wright to be bought out..

He's 3&D, without the 3 (32% career from 3. 30% combined over the past 2 seasons). And with all the injuries over the past couple years, might not have the D anymore either.

Not sure I would even trade Brissett for him straight up. I can't imagine a team trading 4 guys for Cody Martin.

Cody Martin is playoff Caleb when he doesn’t play the Celtics.

Santi Aldama honestly wouldn't be bad but what is Memphis' desire to move him is the question.

I want Lonnie Walker. He's on a minimum and is having a great season, and this bench need more scoring

Curious, what would you regard as a fair price to pay for what would almost undoubtedly be a rental for this season? I'd like to get him, too.

Probably like Svi/Stevens and 2-3 seconds. Anything else defeats the purpose imo.

I don't think Brad goes for him, since he's never been the type to go after score-first guys who don't defend that well, but I think this bench needs one more guy

All in on Caruso. PP, fillers, 1st, swap, 2nds. He’s signed for another year. Would be a cheaper insurance if Jrue decides to bolt in FA. Have one of White/Jrue/JT run second unit when Caruso is on the floor. Throw in Craig and Drummond to fit into TPE.

PP just doesn’t bring enough on offense for what he lacks or what we have to make up for on defense in the playoffs. He tries hard but come postseason, everyone does and his effort no longer stands out. Cs need tangible production/impact from a 7th man.

Caveat: Bulls are dumb and might still decide to keep him to lose in the playin.

 I know it's unlikely to land either one, but both players add a nice needed offensive dimension and I think would fit in. Neither are great defenders, but you can't have everything.

The way Memphis's season is going, Aldama could possibly shake loose before the deadline. He'd be a nice fit, and as a shooting big can spell Al on Al's off days.

I'd wager MEM will want a first and a second or something like that, which is too rich for a one year rental, but I think Aldama is under a reasonable deal for two years?

Svi/Stevens works for Aldama/Konchar. I'd give a 2024 first and future second, maybe two, for that. Gives us a improved bench this year and can keep Aldama next, And the TPE is still in play too.
