JV vs Poeltl

The funny thing is that the scouting report on JV coming into the league was that he was a mobile defensive center who had potential to grow offensivley. He was a pretty sought after prospect. I believe he went 4th overall if my memory is correct. Poeltl went I believe 9th overall, so he was seen as a very solid prospect as well. This is a staright toss up really. Trying not to be a homer but I would have to go with Poeltl based him being roughly 3.5 years younger and I value defence more in a center compared to offence if they are of similar quality.

Not thinking about age, team fit, contract or any other indirect circumstances. JV is just the better player.
