Don’t bring anyone back against Memphis tanking. Against Dallas or Indy would be nice to get them back, but we should go into the break as the 4 seed either way.

Don’t see the Knicks edging the Bucks or Cavs for a top 3 seed with all these injuries.

What if OG's injury is chronic, and he's been dealing with it for years? mising 10+ games when it flares up is just another day in the office.

And the whole time the Raptors have been hiding his chronic elbow issues under various "freak injuries" such as: "poked in the eye", "kneed in the groin", "Keurig fell on his pinky toe" to keep his trade value sky high. :o

I'd think word of it would have gotten round the league of it via/between players gossip so our FO would have been aware of it.

The frequency of injuries in major pro sports, at least NFL and NBA seems to have risen exponentially the past decade.

Our having Thibs makes our handling these seemingly inevitable injuries crucial - we need to develop a strategy to maximize regular season success balanced with maximizing a healthy playoff roster going forward.

It probably means utilizing more of the roster during the regular season to ease player load.

Thibs' reg season minutes and roster management does NOTHING to preserve players' health and stave off injuries...instead, he accelerates it.

I don’t understand what the point is of having players on a team if they cant play during January and February when half the rotation is injured. I guess they’re only here because we need to fill the spots?

Nobody is saying Fournier, JToppin, Flynn, or whoever are great, but there is value in just eating some minutes up and letting the starters rest for a bit obviously.

Thibs is so short sighted he treats evey game like the finals. It’s nice from a competitive standpoint but bad from a health standpoint. What happened to Next Man Up?

Fournier broke our single season 3 Point record just 2 years ago. He averaged 17-20 ppg 3-4 years ago. Hes only 31 with no major injuries. He really cant play 15 mpg off the bench during this stretch when we could use a wing shooter? He has been off when he has played but he’s all out of rhythm.

Or just try Jacob Toppin who has been killing the G League if you want more defense.

2 more days until the deadline. Hopefully reinforcements arrive and OG/QG return.

Lol seriously though he should be. He either must be completely awful in practice to go from starter to bench warmer like he has, or Thibs is just that stubborn and wont play him at all regardless.

I know Fournier’s main value to us is his contract for a trade, but he can still play for us in the meantime when we’re playing 6-7 guys. Nobody is trading for him as a player so let him loose.

fournier doesn't fit here, but i wouldn't be shocked if he were a rotation player elsewhere. he can still score, if nothing else. the few minutes he gets with us he's so out of sync it probably compounds his limitations.

not saying he's not leaving his prime, but he can space the floor for somebody and create off the dribble some.
RIP magnumt

thanks for everything, thibs.

Ah, this is the last game before the deadline. I thought there were 2 more. I just don't see the sense of 6-7 man rotations. WTF? He played Flynn 3 minutes. Sims played 10. Deuce played 20. Thibs is friggin lunatic.

We have 4 players out of our rotation. 3 out of our recent rotation. Thibs is running 6.5 man rotations. It's kind of ridiculous.

Brunson 45 minutes
