is Scottie Barnes deserving? I don't watch the Raps aside when we play them. Stats look decent.

First player of his draft class to make it.

Who's next?

To me, it was between Barnes, Allen, Porzingis or Butler. Maybe Franz. Young was the obvious lock.

Brunson/Mitchell not getting the start over Lillard really screwed Young over this year.

Barnes is a star, well deserved. Now that Pascal is gone, he can finally flourish.

Barnes pick is pretty ridiculous given how they're playing. White or Zinger are playing huge roles on the best team in the league, and the select a guy whose team feels like they've gone 1-15 lately (spoilers, they're only 3-13).

Franz, Cade, Mobley.

Edit: Forgot Sengun. New list is Sengun, Franz, Cade, Mobley in that order of likelihood, imo.

Barnes clearly establishes himself as the best player from his draft class, as of right now. Sengun a close 2nd, and I'm sure his time will come, eventually. Mobley, Cade and Wagner have an outside shot of maybe one day making the team, but they've still got long roads ahead of them before reaching that level.

Congrats Scottie.

Both absolutely deserving of the honour. Gonna be great seeing the 2021 start to get representation. There's a few there who will end up perennial all-stars

Is this your first year watching the NBA to not understand how All-Star selections work? They don't care about record.

Franz, Cade, Mobley.

Sengun before those three, he's the only other guy from that draft class who's close to Scottie at this stage.

Happy for Scottie.

Surprised he got in over Porzingis and Butler.

Porzingis because Boston is the best and he's playing great. Butler due to being established and being a "top 10" player last years playoffs.

Lol Derrick White is not making an all star game with 15 and 5.

Yeah, that's not exactly how that works. The best player from the draft class in the East as of now, sure. If the Rockets were in the East, Sengun would have easily made it over Scottie.

That's not true.

I'm just trying to understand how a guy with a pretty solid bunch of guys around him is leading them to a pathetic record, and somehow he's an all-star. His numbers aren't that great either tbh.

White is having a much bigger impact on winning than Barnes.

Yeah, with his 30% from 3 and no defense, definitely a shoe in over Scottie  .
