Re: GS Ind trade
Hield can fetch some 2nds/expiring. That value neede to be captured and send to Indy. Then GS is still going to need to send incentive for the money difference here. Then the question of how Negative does Indy view Wiggins, Subjectively Wiggins is playing worse now than when GS got a lottery pick to eat him. I don’t think it will cost near that, but likely something more than a token 2nd. Swaps might come into play.

It's rumored to be player for player trades

Not familiar with Jackson, but would sooner gamble on Wiggins over what Hield brings. Would want Obi Toppin in the deal at least

Rumors are Rumors. What the last rumor that really got the value right well ahead of time? I would be very surprised if Indy would do the OP without incentives. IJax could fetch 2nds too. You want players with trade value, a lot of money savings, and Indy to eat a bad contract for free? I think how bad is Wiggins viewed here is the question. Even if he is neutral GS would still owe value.

Jackson former 1st pick small ball C
Warriors were high on Toppin but warriors borderline playoff team and this deal saves about 50 mil in tax.

How many RealGM posters don't overate their own players. More objective sources can be posted that warriors don't have to add and Indy is rumored to be a team interested

Funny, instead of answering the question you attack GM posters. None of these guys are “my players” shouldn’t I be viewed as objective. That is the whole point of the TT board. You should really take these rumors with a grain of salt and try to use your own reasoning skills to try to determine what a trade in reality will look like. You think Indy would do the OP, I don’t. Tell my why is Indy eating Joseph and sending out IJax? Your trade is portraying Wiggins as a positive contract player that teams are going to have to send incentive to GS to acquire. Do you think he is still a positive contract and if so why is GS dumping him?
Did the article state that GS didn’t have to add?

All reports are there has been no mandate from ownership to cut down the Lux tax bill. If anything is done like that it’s likely jettisoning Corey Joseph somewhere with space for a second rounder

It did actually. Not in regards to this deal, but another team reportedly interested in Wiggins is Dallas - which was confirmed by Tim McMahon on Zach Lowe’s pod yesterday. The appeal for Wiggins per McMahon is he could be acquired without adding draft capital. The Athletic’s Anthony Slater is the article where it was reported the Warriors would no need to add either. No offense, but both carry more credibility than this board in players worth determination.
These teams don’t have interest in Wiggins as a dump with perks imo. They feel he’s a potential contributor that can be had cheaper than other options out there (Kuzma, etc.)

The rumors re the Siakam trade were pretty spot on in the day or two ahead.
But yeah, I think Indy MIGHT do a straight up Buddy for Wiggins trade (the salaries match). Last time they took on a lot of future salary like this was the TJ Warren trade and they got a very early 2nd (32?) for taking on that salary (but that was into cap space), so maybe Pritchard would feel the same now as he did then and want payment?

And could you lay out that likely trade? Does it resemble the OP in any regards?

I believe Lowe floated Kleber/Holmes and McMahon floated Grant Williams. No capital added either way. How that compares to Hield and Jackson, don’t know or care.

I would classify those as more leaks than Rumors, but even still I would take the under on almost every rumor league wide with regards to predicting the trade value of players in the rumor mill.
I would be surprised if Indy did the deal straight up. I think they would at least leverage some of the cap space and send someone like Kork to GS for some 2nd back to Indy. I predict they will be more value going back to Indy than a straight swap.

Why are you posting here if you don’t care. Wouldn’t it be logical do to an analysis what the current rumored offer was and compare it to the OP?

Because comparison of Buddy Hield and Jackson’s worth to the Dallas players is matter of opinion that does not interest me. You want to do it, feel free.

Re: GS Ind trade
Reminder that if you post an OP, you are saying you will be open to feedback even if they disagree with you or parts of all of your deal. Calling those who disagree with you biased when they are a fan of neither team and you are a fan of one of them is ballsy, but out of line.
And now its spread to other posters also dismissing other perspectives. So either we open this up and have discussion or I'll just lock it and you guys can discuss this on the Warriors board where you won't have to hear outside voices you clearly aren't interested in.
Please let me know which.

This is more ike what I can see Lacob and MDJ agreeing to do if they think it's time to move on from Andrew. Both BH and IJ would slot right into roles straight away.

Re: GS Ind trade
Hield for Wiggins is legal without adding other players. GS might value both his shooting and his expiring contract. They could let him walk in the summer to save tax.
Pacers could start Wiggins at 3 and move Nesmith to the 2.

Re: GS Ind trade
I could probably live with Wiggins, TJD and a 1st for Hield but I’m incredibly, almost impossibly, low on Wiggins.
