Sixers Spurs Pistons - TobiHarris Keldon Bogi
Premise...
Trying to get Harris to DET [rumor?] and have 6ers reload a big effort for this PO and next season, while removing tax bill.
Spurs asset grab, but I'm having trouble getting more into this for them.
PHL trades Tobias Harris to DET + 24 NYK Rd2, 26 Rd1 (OKC/HOU/LAC - PHL receives the least favorable of these, so DET now gets that), 28 PHL Rd2
PHL trades Marcus Morris Sr., and Covington to SAS + 2024 2nd rnd (TOR/IND/UTA/CLE), 2027 2nd rnd, and 2028 1st (unprotected) + 2030 FRP (1-10 prot.)
PHL receives Keldon Johnson, Joe Harris, Bogdanovic
[76ers pay future 1sts and a 2nd to SAS for Keldon Johnson and 3 seconds and a 26 least favorable 1st to DET for Bogi]
Philadelphia, if healthy is sporting Maxey/Batum/Bogi/Johnson/Embiid starting 5, that's pretty formidable. Harris big salary is split into Johnson and Bogdanovic.
==
DET trades Bogdanovic and Joe Harris to PHL
DET trades Hayes to SAS + 2027 DET 2nd round
DET receives Tobias Harris, Devonte Graham, Sandro Mamukelashvili
+ 24 NYK Rd2
+ 26 Rd1 (OKC/HOU/LAC - DET now receives the least favorable of these in 2026)
+ 28 PHL Rd2
Trade Bogdanovic for the rumor target, renegotiate a contract with Harris this offseason, depart with Hayes, and bring in Graham who is a solid veteran at this point making a lot less than Bogi or Joe Harris, and expires next season which is alright.
==
SAS trades Keldon Johnson to PHL
SAS trades Graham, Mamukelashvili to DET
SAS receives Marcus Morris Sr., Covington, Killian Hayes
+ 24 Rd2 (TOR IND UTA CLE via PHL),
+ 27 Rd2 DET
+ 27 Rd2 PHL
+ 28 Rd1 PHL (unprot.)
+ 30 Rd1 PHL (1-10 p.)
Spurs receives 5 picks and 3 expirings for Keldon (2 firsts 3 seconds), clear out salary for long term, they can make lots of moves to bring in the right player with Wemby if this is the departure... Could be nice picks in Wemby's prime
9 players, 3 in / out for each team.... Too much? too little ? awful ? Thanks for the commentary in advance.

That's awful for the Sixers. An all in move for... Bojan and Keldon Johnson??? While giving up the best player in the deal.

I thought the addition of Bogdanovic (scoring more PPG than Harris and better 3pt%) plus Johnson (scoring about ~1.5 PPG less, shooting worse, but is younger, makes less money than Harris) would fill out your roster to really contend... Harris has been good, yes, some of the picks could be changed, your thoughts ? I'm a neutral so I could use a little of your team's focus on the targets... like who do you want instead of Harris ?
Cheers

If the Sixers are giving up 2 FrP’s they’d better be getting an all star. Or at least a possible all star.

I don't think the Sixers would give up value in a Bojan/Harris swap, and I definitely don't think they or anyone is giving up 2 1sts for Keldon.

The Nets want 2 first for Dorian Finney-Smith

What All-Stars are available for 2 1sts?

And what team is giving up 2 firsts for Dorian Finney-Smith? I wouldn't use that rumor as some measuring stick for value. I think Demar likely only fetches one, allstar for several seasons. Wiggins is a former all star, likely cost next to nothing. Midds not worth much. Murray is a former all star that might go for around 2. Lavine. Vuc....I think it depends on what your definition of all star is. Current all star...then very likely no.

OK, if we're classifying 2024 Wiggins, etc as All-stars then sure. By that measure, they can get multi-time all-star Blake Griffin for zero 1sts.

I do not understand these trade proposals for Harris. Why would the Pistons trade for a player they could sign in the offseason?
Landing him now, does absolutely zero for the team.

They are both terrible defenders and while Tobias is not talented as Bojan on offense he is on a different level as a defender. Keldon Johnson is not very good, he doesn't make up the difference.
That's a deal Detroit would love to make, but it doesn't make sense to Philly.

Re: Sixers Spurs Pistons - TobiHarris Keldon Bogi
Based on a mix of rumors I do think Morey is willing to move Harris if he gets two extreme spacers back - like Bogy and Buddy.
Keldon doesn’t fit that mold and hasn’t improved enough post his rookie year to bring anything exciting to Philly. Morey may want to replicate a formula he had with Harden and Paul in Houston - surround your top 2 with the best shooting possible. I think there’s a 3 way with Indy that could work here but Detroit would have to unload all their ‘valuable’ expiring deals in the process - Bogy, Burks, Morris. Unsure if that’s still enough.
I see the following maybe:
To Indy: Burks, Monte Morris
To Philly: Bogy, Buddy
To Det: Harris
