I actually don't hate it.

I think he could be a really good OC. Some of the stuff that he does is pretty top notch, as far as play designs, scheming guys open, etc.

One real positive with him, is that he could really unlock Charbonnet. Who thrived in his offense. Walker could really take off too, I think.

Some guys are just better coordinators than head coaches. Chip is one of those guys.

I think it could potentially be a really good hire. Both he & Grubb are at the top of my list.

I'm a fan of not starting a rookie QB, but Geno has 12 mill guaranteed on the 16th of this month or we have the option to get Fields but Fields and Penix makes less sense than Geno mentoring him on his current contract and seeing what we need capwise next season. Or... we are kinda limited in FA this year if they don't do something with either or both Geno and Tyler.... Hmmm.
