Dallas was a bad fit from the start.

Grant needs to be on a team where the big man can score inside, rebound, and block shots because Grant can't do all 3 and he plays at the PF spot.

He is good 7th or 8th guy. Not a starter.

True.

Bulls starting both Vooch and Drummond.

Bulls beat Wolves and Drummond ended up with 16 an16.

Josh Giddey loves that number.

Still have to laugh that ESPN put him in their top-100 list but left off Derrick White and Sengun.

Do they even watch the same league??

Kris Dunn with 8/3/5/4/3 stat line in 26 mins, solid D on Shae down the stretch. Team-high +16. If no Caruso or Wright, Dunn wouldn't be so bad as another guard option.

Triple7 wrote:Guys here are massively overrating Caruso lol. I’d rather get olynyk. First off, he won’t get the mins here. He’s starting and finishing for the bulls. He would rather go to the bucks, where he could probably start, or the lakers. Just stop it with the caruso love fest. Meanwhile Drummond is holding his own against gobert and towns. Up to 15rebs and 4 blocks. Something that both Kornet and Queta couldn’t do against decent bigs.

Drummond an upgrade over Queta and Kornet. He is a great 3.5 quarters player and has found his niche as a dominant rebounder and offensive rebounding. Look at his numbers when he played bigger minutes this year. He could step in when Al/KP take a game off and go 13 points, 17 boards in 30 minutes of action.

I refer you to my previous post.

One way to make a 4 for 1 or 5 for 1 trade more likely is if you also trade 2 players in from that team via our TPE.

Mr_Mojo_Risin wrote:No idea whether Jazz are going to be buyers, sellers or not much, but if they're sellers and we wanted to get crazy:

BOS Out: PP, Svi, Banton, Stevens & Walsh + TPE & picks picks picks
BOS In: Olynyk (matched with BOS players out), Fontecchio & Dunn (via Grant TPE)

UTA Out: Olynyk (matched with BOS players out), Fontecchio & Dunn (via Grant TPE)
UTA In: PP, Svi, Banton, Stevens & Walsh

It might need to be over 2 separate transactions...

Boston then upgrades Queta and signs someone else to get to min 14 players. Jazz would need to waive a couple of players.

Picks, picks and picks would need to be given, not sure we would do it and I'm sure Danny could do better than what we could give.

Out: PP, Svi, Banton, Stevens & Walsh
In: Dunn, Fontecchio & Olynyk

Dunn is a defensive guard upgrade on PP, Olynyk is another zone buster to add when KP is off the floor and Fontecchio can just play to see if he has it that night if others don't.

Spoiler:
I know I'm dreaming, but our depth would be excellent.

https://www.hoopsrumors.com/2024/01/checking-in-on-nba-roster-openings-deadlines.html
The deadline to sign a player to a two-way contract won’t arrive until March 4, so there’s no urgency for these clubs to fill their openings right away. But the prorated portion of a two-way salary is such a minor financial commitment for an NBA franchise that we may see these teams bring in a new two-way player sooner rather than later, even if they’re not certain he’ll hold that spot for the rest of the season.

I think that we Convert Queta by this date, and sign another Two-Way.

Given it's basically the last chance before more stringent rules for second apron kick in, I think they'd be crazy not to get someone in to give them more flexibility next year too.

Just checked all the way to the Larry Bird era and what I found out was all of Bird's championships was when the Celtics had the best record in the league.

Apparently the Celtics need homecourt advantage to win championships, at least up to the Bird era.

I would definitely feel more confident if the Cs end the season having the best record in the league.
