Bucks - Warriors - Jazz

Post#1 » by mlloyd10 » Wed Feb 7, 2024 3:45 pm

Saw this on X - Not taking credit for it

Bucks Trade: Portis/Pat C/Beauchamp/Payne
Bucks get: Wiggins/Dunn/Saric

Warriors trade: Wiggins/Saric/2025 2nd / 2026 2nd
Warriors get: Portis/Pat C

Jazz trade: Dunn
Jazz get: Beauchamp/Payne/2025 2nd via CHa / 2026 2nd via ATL

Why Bucks: Wiggins ( if his head is right 0 is the exact player the bucks need next to Middleton - Saric fills the portis role
Why Warriors: Was going to say a Salary dump of Wiggins, it is, but they do get two useful players back
Why Jazz: Danny Ainge will do everything to get the most value of of Dunn - Dont know if Beauchamp plus two 2nd is enough for him

I'm good with it from the jazz perspective. I like the potential of Beauchamp.

I’ll disagree. I don’t expect that Ainge is interested in a move like this. I definitely hope not.

Dunn is one of the best defenders on a team that needs defense. Don't see Ainge dealing him without getting another defender back. Granted, not sure on Beauchamp's d.

Said in reference to Utah's trade assets in a potential Doncic deal.

I’d much rather the Jazz keep him. I don’t see them getting any realistic offer for him that would be worth it. He’s become the straw that stirs the drink.
