Another one in the Jimmy vein of discussion would be CP3. Like sure technically if KM for Jimmy ws on the table it would have technically been the correct move in hindsight right now based on who's been better. However, we just have no idea on the butterfly effect. There is a chance they 2-3 titles and just as good a chance they have 0. We have no idea what happens, he could've torn his acl, different trades happen because of it and a different team gets built that beats them, he and Giannis butt heads, etc.

CP3 is another example, technically getting paid to take him on a few years ago would've been the better trade than giving all our assets for Holliday. But again, there is a very good chance the alternate timeline has 0 titles in it.
Resident Lillard truther since 2015.

Would I keep him as an end of the bench guy? Sure. Would I care if he’s dealt? Nope.
Ajax is injured, but okay.

He’s “injured”

He can play. He’s not playing. Marjon was “injured” for months last year too.

Ajax was so awful the last stretch of games he played. Lost on the floor, fouling everyone, just outright terrible.

We're imploding -- we need BuckPack with some tantalizing hint that ultimately doesn't happen but it's still fun

In general I wouldn't be living and dying with stuff like that. It's all posturing right now so close to the deadline.

CP3 is the trade I wish we would've made. I don't know if we win anything but my god it would be nice to have Giannis work with a real PG for the first time in his career and we would've had real assets to get another disgruntled stud. Who knows, maybe we get Dame 1.5 years earlier or something. Or CP immediately becomes completely washed as was expected for a guard of his age.

OK. I have convinced myself that somehow Horst will turn Pat and Bobby into Murray. Make it happen John!

I am not a cap expert so not sure how possible it even is long-term, but to me, Murray is the guy you go after. His fit with our core is perfect, he's actually still in his prime, and his contract aligns with the core. As I said, actually acquring him with the assets we have and keeping his salary slot long-term among what we already have on the books, I'll let someone else tell me I'm an idiot.

MKE > Andrew Wiggins (GSW), Moses Moody (GSW)
ATL > Bobby Portis (MIL), Pat Connaughton (MIL), Cory Joseph (ATL)
GSW > Deandre Hunter (ATL), Cam Payne (MIL)

If Murray and Trae doesn’t work, why would Murray and Lillard work?

Should have traded for Beal: dude gets hurt all the time, would have been an epic mistake.

Should have traded for Jimmy: we have to factor in the butterfly effect/alternate realities, he might have torn his ACL and been hurt all the time.

We’re Bucks fans. Of course we value loyalty to a non-threatening all-star over winning multiple championships.

I think the idea was to have Murray be the POA defender, but he's not been much of a defender since his injuries. However, if Dame keeps having an inconsistent offensive output, coupled with Khris' unknown injury status, Murray's offense might be more of a help than his defense at this point.

Because it’s Murray, Lillard, and Giannis.

It will be nice to have some new players to complain about if they aren't great every game.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

If GSW wants to get off of Wiggins and will put Moody up to make it happen that’s an easy yes

Return to Milwaukee Bucks
