No two quotes have more perfectly summed up this board since I first got here.

Transactions are probably the most exciting part of a season save for important playoff games. My excitement for actually watching games is almost back to non-existent. Horst, make me feel alive again.

Going into the playoffs 10 months ago we had the NBA's best overall record, then in a series where Giannis gets hurt and misses basically 3 games, the coach has a tragic family loss, and Giannis misses 13 free throws in a 2 point close-out game we decide to blow it up. I'd have rather kept Bud and the Giannis/Jrue/Khris/Brook core then be sitting here with this mess we have today hoping to pick up scraps at the trade deadline.

That's easy to say now. Were you not excited when we got Dame?

I think Murray for non core 4 guys is the only thing that will actually excite me. Middleton injury increases the urgency for it and creates a logical path for moving Middleton to the bench when he returns. I'd take my chances with Dame-Beasley-Murray-Giannis-Brook-Khris 6th man regardless of who our 7th and 8th dudes are. We won a title playing like 7 guys.

Just wish they could've known Dame was coming before pushing out Bud. Kept Bud, do the Dame trade. Focus on better fits next to Dame. Be able to make the rest of roster moves knowing Dame was here rather than him coming in last.

Jrue is averaging 13 points a game at a lower TS% than each of the last three seasons as the 5th option on offense. What do you think his numbers look like as the 2nd option on offense?

Very excited when they got Dame, but also worried if the new coach could make it work. Dame in Bud's system which was proven to be successful would have been very interesting.

Yeah I think the Bucks could have Wiggins if we want him. Bobby back under Kerr in that system could be a great fit.

Think there will be a chain reaction once certain players get dealt and/or teams give up on getting them.

Signs point to Dallas being desperate too I'd add.

Not going to lie, if Bobby and/Pat are traded I'll shed a tear. Lots of good memories. It was the same with Jrue.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Love those guys, but in particular with Pat, it's just time. He looks a lot better guarding the perimeter with guys finally stunting from the wings but if you isolate him, there are very few players who can't face him up and take him off the bounce.
