I bet somehow, some way, this makes Luke Ridnour anxious.

Yeah he's always very proactive from what I understand. Whereas Hammond waited for others to initiate. Sometimes the best deals are the one's you don't make so we'll see what happens. As has been said many times in this thread, we simply don't have a lot of tradeable assets that other teams will covet. We can easily be outbid on anyone we are interested in.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Random question--when a pick is protected, "lottery/top 10" whatever... does that mean you don't get the pick if it falls within that zone? And if that happens, then are you just screwed or does it roll over to a different year?

You're correct. For example, a pick can be top 10 protected, then the next year top 20 protected, then the following year no protection.

Just takes 1 team to seriously value Bobby to make a lot else possible.

Haven't heard any rumors about it and don't know how we can make it work but would love to see Herb Jones on this team.

It can also become 2 seconds or something like that. Those fake first round pick trades were happening so much a few years back.

Don't see what the point of Schroder would even be. What's with this weird idea that we need to upgrade the 10-15 minutes of the backup PG spot?

Yes, we still need guys who can beat someone off the dribble, particularly without a screen. Schroeder would help.

Him and Dame would be a very disruptive backcourt offensively. DS is a very good defender and would be nice next to dame. If he's playing well, I would play him more than 20 min a game, some in a primary back up pg role, and some with Dame.

Have you seen our bench lately? He would play much more than 10-15 minutes.

I'm not so sure about your 'very good defender' comment. He is pretty long though so probably can survive short stints alongside Dame.

Trade just depends if you feel like Pat can contribute or not, if not then I guess it's using a guy who you don't want in the court to moderately upgrade Paynes spot. Who cares about the 2nd.
