Jevon’s ready to step in.

If a first is available for Drummond, you have to do it. If it’s seconds, I’d pass and try to resign Drummond to a multi year deal in the summer.

I would like to get 2 of OKC’s middle tier FRPs if possible personally.

I’d take moody and a 1st for Caurso maybe a few srps

For three seconds though? IDK, I love Drummond but I'll probably take it.

I guess it would depend on which 2nd round picks they are. If it’s something like 3 seconds belonging to Philly or Denver that seems pointless.

I suppose it depends on where the SRPs are projected to land, if they're in the low 30s it's almost like getting a couple of late FRPs, but if they're in the mid 40s and onwards then what's the point?

If this front office has shown anything so far, it's that they expect to be competitive simply based on their expectation to be competitive. There's no logic in this place.

Doesn't look like they're planning to move Caruso.

Or maybe the Bulls improve next year and that gets him to stay?

I know...its a stretch, but possible. I like Caruso, but I tend to think that if a good deal is on the table you take it.

Agreed, he was in that situation with LA he said point blank he would have preferred being in LA and if LA came close, he would have stayed there. We offered around $3M more and he came to a 31 win team from a championship team.

There's nothing in his career that indicates he'll stay for less money due to feelings.

I don't think he'll take a discount and even if he did it would be a small amount that wouldn't mean much. I'm just saying that he might prefer to stay here if all things are equal. Will that mean his next contract will be one where he's overpaid? Maybe.

Looks like the Bulls will run it back next season with basically the same roster. They might even go into 2025 in worse shape then they were going into 2024.

Fun times.

Taylor would presumably be the backup C.

Here's the thing, we lead he league in attendance so, I don't think the FO truly gives flying EFF.

***The Chicago Bulls are not anticipated to execute a major trade and will most likely retain their core group of players, per

Well the silver lining is that a handful of fans will be very happy that the Bulls did nothing at the deadline for a 3rd season in a row to chase mediocrity and a possible play-in spot.

At least some fans will get what they want.

Maybe there are no trades worth executing? Maybe all the other teams know our team construction is no good and aren’t offering much to help us?

Trying to make sense of this nonsense.

AK is being gifted an accelerated retool to build a winner.

Instead he’s stuck trying to win a play in game.

Yes JR is asking for this.

Trade away DDR and Drummond and with Zach out we accelerate the growth of Coby Ayo Pat and we improve our pick and get a useful 1st.
