If we did use the small TPE, why is Stevens being sent out? Also, can a TPE be combined with the two 2nd round picks that we sent away?
The tweeting about this trade has been a mess.
If a TPE was so small that no one could see when it was used, did the TPE even exist?

What would the trade package look like?
I just tried Brissett/Banton/Svi/Walsh for Wright in the trade machine and it doesn't work..Wright makes too much $.
Only way I can see us getting Wright is if we trade Pritchard.
And I don't really see that happening. but I guess you never know, perhaps Brad/Joe are scared Pritchard will get abused on D and won't provide enough value on offense if his shots aren't falling (he only shot 21% from 3 in the NBA finals).
But at the same time, Pritchard has a 4 year extension that kicks in next season..Wright is on an expiring contract..I don't see it happening..
I think the most likely scenario is we scoop up a wing (like Konchar, Bey, Walker or Kispert) with the TPE and that way we don't have to send out any players (or perhaps we just send out 1 of them, like Svi or Banton).

BTW, the Quetarians must be bummed about this news. It's now less likely he gets converted to a regular contract with the added big man depth.

I like Wright, but we already got one addition and a subtraction, so I'm more suspect about trading another player, particularly a rotation guy that can shoot. Wright is not someone I want to sell the farm for. (He'd be a nice buyout!)
Washington makes sense as a team to be on the phone with at the midnight hour, though.
I'm getting Duncan Robinson vibes from Kispert. He may be better than advertised on D. Comes from a great program. He has a skill that the Celtics can use that Hauser and Pritchard don't do well, which is can come off of screens and get a quick shot. Sort of like Miami does with Herro and Robinson. Hauser is more of a catch and shoot guy.
And like Tillman, he seems to be kinda chippy, a live wire, but in a different way. Outside of Pritchard and Al (and Queta when he plays), I find the C's bench to be almost too ... regimented and predictable (I think Joe calls it "making the right play!").
I'd like to see a guy that can come in and get hot when our starters are struggling; someone that can create their own shot and is Ok with stepping back another foot off that 3 point line when they're feeling hot.
Joe, OTOH, may see things very differently. But I hope Brad brings in one shooter with an independent streak. The team should be mature enough to handle it at this point. If it doesn't work, you bench him. Use the TPE while it's available.

Yes, it does. I've moved Kispert one spot ahead of Walker since he's bigger and not injured. Lonnie gets the nod for experience though.

Wasn’t a huge Walker guy but after the first trade to shore up the front court he could grow on me. Agree Kispert might be the best guy they can acquire reasonably easy - I do wonder if he’d get the minutes he’s looking for though. Walker same to a lesser degree.
