Since when did realistic names become a thing on this board? Trading KM and Brook are realistic? 95% of the proposals on this board are unrealistic, because Horst would never do them (thankfully) or the other GM wouldn't do them (not too many of those proposals).

I agree Caruso is unrealistic for the Bucks (but definitely more realistic than trading KM or Brook), but he also happens to be the best fit. And by all accounts the Bulls will trade him either now or during the offseason.

Horst probably already did this, but I would empty the cupboard and offer the Bulls (probably need a third team) BP, PC, the high second pick, and every young player on the roster (Marjon, AJ, AJJ). The Bulls can keep the young players and give another team the vets and get a first for them (yes, BP will get a first in return).

i am ALL FOR unrealistic musing over trades but if you start a sentence with 'the most realistic option' and then list the guy we could never trade for im gunna laugh

Except I didn't say he was the most realistic option.

Anyone who wants to trade Dame, Khris or Brook right now is silly

if you wait for the summer you'll be able to trade 2 firsts alongside and actually get something good back

What makes you say he's unrealistic? Do you think the Bulls are reluctant to move him full stop? Price too high? Outbid by someone else?

He seems an obvious fit here compared to elsewhere, and between Bobby/Marjon/AJJ/Pat/Cam/picks I don't think it's crazy at all to think we have enough juice.

We don’t have any first round picks, while other teams have multiple. We also don’t have the young talent to make up for the aforementioned lack of picks.

It doesn't matter how many picks other teams have if they are not willing to trade them.

Sometimes I think mediocre expendable assets are more conducive to trading than good assets because the other team sees your stash and starts asking for too much. "Sorry man but this is all I got" can work wonders in negotiations.

yep, everything right now should be anyone other than Dame, Giannis or Midds. How can we optimize the line up with players and not send out too many picks.

If they fail this season, then you look at nuclear options to blow it up.

Hopefully we already have fallback moves in place and we are just holding off and shooting for higher targets.

Can anyone find stats for Wiggins specifically % on corner 3s? Is he near 40% at least?

It's interesting that the Bucks are being mentioned with so many names in the press. The FO has been good at keeping a lid on these things in the past.

Just thinking there's a chance we trade a bunch of guys tomorrow (Bobby/Pat/Cam/Marjon) and the statuses of Dame/Khris/Brook are still uncertain. Tomorrow's game could be an absolute trainwreck.

Would laugh very hard if Gery got the drop on Kuzma, and we got him.

Sounds implausible. But remember, these are the Wizards. They might fall for it.

Kuz is the new John Collins. I swear he's been in rumors for years but never actually gets traded.

Kuzma?

Thank god it's Gery so there's no chance it happens.

If we can get Brown without giving up a first (do we even have one to trade anyway?) and for a package centering on Bobby and Pat then it's a no brainer.

Feel free to blame me/this post in 6 weeks when Khris still isn't playing.

Didn't look too bad but the walking boot and crutches suggest it wasn't a small thing. Precautionary perhaps. The initial injury report should be out in the next hour, we'll at least have a clue. And the fact nothing has been leaked to Shams suggests it wasn't anything serious, the MRI would have been done earlier today.

I'm starting to think that the moment a player rolls their ankle like that in a game they're put into the boot just to be safe, until they've had scans etc done.

Nah this is the average Bucks RealGMer proposing an 8 team trade that nets us GG Jackson and the draft rights to a 28 year old backup Euroleague point guard.

Bruce Brown is what everyone thinks AJax is. Ultimate glue guy. No brainer. Whatever it takes. PJ Tucker but not awful at basketball.

Agree, but at the same time I'm not sure Brown is better than Dunn. One salary is a lot easier to get to than the other.
