I like Gordy, but honestly PJ is the guy we need. He’d fill a lot of positional and skillset deficiencies.

Derozan 100% moves the needle and I’m not sure he gets the respect he is due here. That’s an all in move you are adding a certified scorer, he is still a 22 PPG guy. You add talent like that and things get figured out.

Caruso fixes our guard depth issue almost immediately

You get a 28 million dollar expiring with Derozan

Tyler Herro will be moved at some point. The 2026 offseason will have a generational free agent class the Heat are going to line things up to have maximum flexibility at that time. I think if you can move him now for a chance at a run you do it I don’t see him as some irreplaceable talent for the money he’s being paid.
