Mavs have buyers remorse with grant williams. Would probably try to swap them.
Grant making 12M, PJ making 16. Probably trying to figure out right players to add to deal and if hornets want grant and a 2nd round pick.

Yup, correct. They can only be making 12.4M or less.
We are over the first tax apron and so are the Celtics, Warriors, Bucks, Suns, Nuggets and Clippers.

So unless we shed salary, we can't get Hayward or Joe Harris or Doug McDermott if they get bought out.

Probably looking at a Drummond (would be interesting against Boston or Nuggets, give us some serious size and rebounding, Bryant seems to have fallen out of favor). Or Gallo. Or Tucker. Or Delon Wright. Or Thaddeus Young (always liked his game). Olynyk makes 12.2! But no way he gets bought out.

Tucker is very unlikely to me because if he agrees to buy out he's voiding his player option at 10M next year. And how would we trade for him? No one comes close to matching that salary. Which is good cuz I don't want him.

We are only 1.787 away from getting back into the first apron. Bryant and Smith salary dump is 4.4 million worth of salary. We will be 2.6 million under the 2nd apron. Plenty to sign Hayward to a prorated buyout contract. We got Zeller last year for 500k lol.

Ufff dreams of going for KO are far far away, Miami is not looking to lose anymore first round picks, all the trades to go down are going to require some sort of pick compensation for teams to take on the other teams lesser players or garbage.
