I hate Lowry. Hate his game, his face, how he looks kinda pudgy.

Could we be trading for Grimes?

Not sure it's the ideal splash move (would prefer a PG), but he's a Magic kinda profile.

Hoopshype says a deal is nearly done for him but no team is mentioned, which made me suspect the secretive Magic FO...

I have a strange feeling the Magic are cooking up a major trade, which I don’t necessarily want. This is a seller’s market, and the only difference-makers rumored to be a available will therefore cost a king’s ransom. I’d be happy with a smallish deal for a Tyus or someone similar, but I’m not keen to throw multiple FRPs and valuable players out there for a guy who just slightly improves the team.

The time to do the heavy lifting is the off-season. Free agency and 1-2 FRPs that actually make sense.

And maybe a new FO to navigate this maelstrom.

they've been my darkhorse for a week or so now. They have some good youth and can cash in on a good year.

Herb Jones, Nance, Murphy II and a 1st for Murray Okkongwu works.. will be very interesting to see what wins Murray
A scoring guard.. never heard of one.

Hate to say it, but I think Goga will/needs to get moved today to get some value out of him. I know we aren’t trading WCJ and definitely not Moe.

It’ll be something minor, but if we could somehow combine him to get an upgrade at PG. I’m going to throw out there a guess of Kelle+Goga for Schroder

I'm all for paying a King's ransom for a King...what reason is there to wait? Doesn't mean "get ripped off" or "rip off the other team"

Plus more ppl may be available than anybody knows. As long as GM is doing his job and making calls. All they can say is no.

Welt is on vacation this week. Bad timing but unfortunately he didn't buy trip insurance so he can't change it. See you on draft night!

IF POR is really not moving Brogdon...I can't imagine why they wouldn't consider a Simons deal. Kind of makes sense for their team situation...Bad and overstocked with guards. Keep the "mentor" vet, who can contribute at both Guard spots and gradually empower Scoot and Sharpe to take over. How does it serve them to keep Simons at $25m scoring 25ppg but isn't a good pairing with Scoot, who is clearly the future? He'll be expiring and ready for mo' bucks (based on his inflated stats in losses) just as POR starts to move forward.

I don't think the league is confused about Simons' true value or the fact that he's scoring a ton in a situation that fosters it without wins. Almost like a trade showcase - like Miles Bridges putting up numbers for hapless CHA. Simons is not an All-Star, but he's an offensive star on some nights and that's exactly what we need to balance our offense and make Paolo & Franz unstoppable...MIA showed how easy it is to lock ORL down by simply neutralizing one or the other and daring the entire remaining ORL roster to do anything tangible offensively. Suggs or Cole will, on rare occasions, rise up for 5 3's and enough offense to punish that defensive scheme... it might win you a game, but not a playoff series. Simons will bury any team, any night if they dare him to shoot 10 3's.

What “kings” are out there? Murray is good but he’s not a “king.”
