Trading Green for Pj scares the **** out of me. Adding anything on top would be a such a Mavs type of a bad move.

It would mean that THJ would basically get Green's role and Grant would be relegated to bench and you have a dead weight at 14M unless you can somehow unload him. At the end of the day, i'm not even sure PJ is better than Green other than the fact that he's a versatile big wing with horrible impact stats.

As a podcaster? Issac hands down, On basketball knowledge, Slightly, Isaac was way too much of a company man, it got him a job, good for him.
Defense wins draft lotteries!
Fortune favours the bold, so it ducked Nico Harrison.

Love Slightly.

Outside his knowledge his banter is great.

In his videos he's much more comfortable than on the podcast, he's much more reserved there.
I laughed so hard at his Ayton cowboy piece in the offseason.

It says that Holmes would be involved and that's why they want an unprotected first...the Mavs are offering a protected..I don't know,Holmes becomes an expiring next year and giving up a first, even a protected one, is a bad idea since they would have three firsts to trade in the offseason...and PJ really doesn't make them a contender,he would be a solid PF but not a game changer...Just offer Grant,Green,Curry for PJ and Hayward

I want Nico head alongside Kidd's if we end up giving up 1 FRP for PJ freaking Washington.
I don't care if we are dumping Holmes, it still doesn't bridge the huge gap in value between PJW and our unprotected 2027 first.

Agreed, Dallas should not give up a pick for any of the rumored targets, not one of them is worth a FRP

Green for PJ is fine, not sure why we'd balk at that. If Holmes needs to be included, then take back Cody Martin who isnt exactly all that great himself, a little more balanced then.

Josh Green/Rishaun Holmes/Seth Curry for PJ Washington/Cody Martin

Then get a backup big using Grant WIlliams if u can.

I'm fine if we throw in a first for PJ, but I would insist on including Grant and Bridges if thats what it cost. Charlotte's GM is delusional to assume Bridges, PJ, and Hayward are all worth FRPs

Agreed. Id throw in OMax or Hardy in lieu of a FRP, but I would want Richards or Bridges as well in any deal that included picks or young players being sent out. PJ is good, but hes not that good.

It's desperate times for Mavs, it might be the best they don't do anything, if there's no good deal available.

If the reports that the Mavs are willing to offer a first for PJ are true it probably means the Mavs are panicking....despite the wins in the last two game let's not pretend like they have somehow turned things around, are better...they were wins against two bad teams(PHI is 1 of 6 without Embild,BRK is just bad),they have not beat any contenders and they're not close to them talent wise...getting PJ won't change that, you won't be competing...this team is flawed, lacks assets, don't give them away Just for a small upgrade, use them smart..nothing you mortgage your future will turn you in a contender this year,it will only hamoer your chances of building one in the offseason...make an offer without the first, you'll need to make upgrades in the offseason...this team is more than a player away from contending

Teams know Mavs are desperate and they're trying to get them to overpay...if there's no good deal available leave it,go all in in the offseason... don't overpay(deplete your assets) for a lateral move,a couple more wins..Look what Boston got...a solid player to strengthen their rotation under the basket for cheap...I'm starting to think Nico is way over his Head, hopefully others stop him from overpaying

Which is why Mavs fans can probably expect any deals (if any happen at all) to be completed right at the deadline. Its going to be a game of chicken between GMs until then trying to see which one blinks first.

And even more impressive, if they didn't give some away lately, Thunder having 7 FRPs and 7 SRPs in next 2 years. Mavs in totally desperate position in comparison to some teams.
