This is the most likely deal. It won't happen until right at the deadline though, the Nets will shop it for a better offer right up to that point.

This tweet was the 'please someone beat this offer' SOS

We should honestly do both lol.

Little, Damion Lee and two 2nds for O’Neal

Then just take Porter Jr into our TPE.

Book / Gordon / Goodwin
Beal / Okogie
Allen / O’Neal / Yuta
Durant / Porter Jr / KBD / Metu
Nurkic / Bol / Eubanks

I really like Otto Porters skill set fit but I haven't really paid any attention to him this year. Does he have anything left physically?

I wonder if this means we can somehow snag a Pat Bev/ Martin Jr combo for little/filler/ 2nds OR maybe an Oubre/ House/ KJ Martin Jr Combo for Little/filler/2nds? Maybe even sneak a Eubanks for Bamba swap in there somehow?? They did give up 2nds in the deal, so maybe we could offload some of our crappy 2nds in exchange? :dontknow:

They like Agbaji? The 1st is gonna be like #27 or #28 (not great). They've never shown an interest in really bottoming out. Kelly's Canadian? Kelly could also be flipped on his own if they wanted.

I believe Toronto did this because of their lack of frontcourt (center primarily) depth knowing that Olynyk wouldn't be a long term commitment for them and would not affect their rebuild. And Ochai being a much younger, cheaper upside prospect that fits their core timeline for when they don't resign or they trade trent jr? :D

Yeah I guess they might want Kelly around long-term. what surprised me was he wasn't being sent to a 3rd team but that might still happen.

The Oklahoma City Thunder have acquired Gordon Hayward from Charlotte in exchange for Tre Mann and Davis Bertans.

That’s a great move by the Thunder.

I don't really get everyone skating over the Agbaji part. He's a toolsy 23yo wing who was a recent lottery pick who plays the position of a veteran pending FA they have. Seems like a "rebuild" type piece everyone thinks they should get. He hasn't been super impressive but if they were fans of his pre-draft...

Wow, very pleased to hear Hayward is going to a must watch contender. Always liked him. Gets tougher for us but my expectations are pretty low for us now anyway. Still have hope, but I think there are just teams that have similar top end talent to us but with better depth.

Yeah I definitely overlooked Agbaji. I haven't paid much attention to the draft the past couple of years.

I don't think Buddy was happy with his role and I think he's the type to be a little bit of a pain in the ass when not happy.

The Washington Wizards are nearing a deal to send Daniel Gafford to the Dallas Mavericks for Richaun Holmes and draft compensation, sources tell ESPN.
