The Sixers traded another 2nd to just dump a salary. lol.

That cannot be true. House is expiring and makes peanuts. We must have gotten someone.

He makes 4M.

I'm speaking from an NBA scale if you're saying 4M is a lot of money.

Enough to get them under the tax and be able to add vet minimums

Has implications if you're trying to get under the tax line, I'd imagine.

A little surprised about the House dumping. Wasn't he expiring? Is the sixers trying to make more room for another trade?

Apparently it's to make room for Lowry, a guy Heat fans were thrilled to get off their team.

I'm assuming this is it in terms of trades, with some vet minimums (buyouts?) on the way.

Lowry? Danny Green...?

He was their starter PG , not the same if we sign him.

There's no way Morey thinks adding Hield is enough to make a difference in the playoffs.

So at this point three confirmed-ish going out, Morris, Furk and House, one back in. Two open roster spots at this point.

For sure.

I don't know that one of those moves is available to him though, so this checks the box of "we were buyers", while keeping the powder dry for a big move over the summer in terms of picks and cap space, while sprinkling in a tax ducking move.

I don't think he's coming off 1st rounders for deals that won't substantially move the needle.

I kinda liked how House was looking recently. Felt like an actual contributor off the bench.

I'm predicting DeRozan in the next 40 minutes. Especially if we're banking on getting Lowry on the buyout market.

Why does Morey hate wing players so much?

Can they anymore? Seems like that is a thing of the past.

You'd need Harris as matching salary. I can't see it.
