Woj: Knicks trade for Alec Burks and Bojan Bogdanovich

Sucks to see Grimes go. I do think this makes the bench better for a chance at a deep playoff run. Burks better get in sync with the team, I'm still haunted by his 4th quarter decision making.

With all players healthy, I don't think we'll see Burks in crunch time. We just need him to be better on offense than Grimes did along with McBride.

Gonna end up being a bad ending to a year that was headed in the right direction. Soft and dumb, defense-poor, players coming back. And I'm including Mitch to an extent since he can't score at all and isn't the defensive player people believe he is. Holes.

We just ventured into old and worse basketball, took Deuce out of the rotation, and there is no way we are beating Boston.

I'm also unsure as to how to feel about this trade overall. Let's see how it pans out. I personally am gonna miss Grimes and what he brought to the team.....his defense was stellar.

BTW I share your sentiment on Mitch.....he is a good defender but I never feel All-NBA defense level...but we'll see. I do think that with Embiid injured and Milwaukee in disarray the FO may be feeling like they can go far once Randle and OG and Mitch return.

Well getting Bojan makes it a much better deal. More offensive firepower, ball handling and outside shooting. Plus we added some size. We might have gotten even better

Wow I really disagree with the majority here. You'd think Bo is like some really good player. He's not. Grimes has a good career ahead of him.

But, I hope I'm wrong, I guess. I hate watching guys like Burks, Bo and Mitch. They stink folks.

Bo is a killer shooter and shot maker.. I think you will come around.

The great part about the team is its built with defensive infrastructure at full health

We all know Thibs trusts Burks to be that secondary playmaker when Brunson rests. Josh Hart and Burks can help facilitate the offense with McBride. And they'll have Bogdanovic as a scoring threat from deep.
