Wiz fan here. Gafford is pretty popular with wiz fans. His game is very similar to Lively but he isn't as quick. Good hands plays the right way.

Glad to see him get the chance to play in games that matter.

This seems like an important variable since you’re not really supposed to be able to flip Richaun Holmes into Daniel Gafford.

Mavs needs defensive Pf. But ok, I can see him being better than THJ of the bench, if he could play as many games as THJ, but unfortunately that's unlikely. I watched the whole Bojan's career, I liked him very much, but his body is not what it used to be.

I agree, he's not the Player he was... that's why he was soo cheap...but in a limited role of 20-25 minutes a game he's a steal...and he can run plays with the second unit, he's still that good

I don't know if a little THJ upgrade, when available, is worth 2SRP and Hardy. We better use Hardy and SRPs as a sweetener in a more important trade.

If Nico can find one... hopefully in the offseason

From Powell and Wood to Lively and Gafford... Only took them 13 years.

13 years of me crying for a good C rotation. And the last (and only) time we had one we won the ship. You'd think it's simple logic right...

Lively won't have to worry about fouling now and can go into beast mode.

You'll love this even more. I can't decide who would be a more proper starter now.

If we get Gafford then Maxi can play some minutes at PF... A win win situation.

Rockets wanted three seconds for Tate...Mavs could only offer two...glad that didn't go though....not exactly sure what he'd bring,he's 6'4(not exactly the size for a SF)...Sixers have too many Players...maybe KJ Martin on a cheap, but maybe they don't want him cause his dad talks a lot of s**t about Luka

Is the deal done? Or are they still trying to get that pick

Got to remember Gafford is shooting 69 percent (FG) with Tyus Jones and Poole feeding him the ball .Luka has one of the most athletic rimrunning lob threats in the NBA to feed now.

I have a feeling that Mavs are doing some behind the door trades with Nets for DFS. He didn't play vs Mavs and everyone knows they want him back. If Gafford trade gets done, they'll need another solid SF/PF to seal this trade deadline.

Wondering if we can turn Lively into a PF eventually?
