For what the Bucks gave up I like the Pat Bev move. Every championship contending team needs an 'edge' type player in the vein of Draymond/Rodman/Tristan Thompson/Haslem etc. Pat Bev is the archetypical "X factor" type of player who can change the complexion of an important playoff game in a matter of a couple of possessions.

Its the playoffs where each possession matters. Plus he's experienced and will not take low IQ shots like Payne. I actually feel a little bit better after this move, its a small one that can pay dividents in the playoffs.

This screams, trying to recapture the magic of the Tucker trade.

From a on court fit perspective, it makes a lot of sense to pair him with Dame in the back court.

I kind of get it. Embiid looks to be out for a while and given Embiids' history they could be building around Maxey just in case. Hields' outside shooting will definitely complements Maxey's ability to break down defenses.
