The Warriors, along with a bunch of other high-paying teams, can't sign him. The new rule is that teams above the 1st Apron can't sign a waived player whose pre-waiver salary was above the MLE. Harris's salary is almost $20M.

1000000% was targeted at the dubs and clips.
Not sure why the small market teams agreed considering their chances of keeping a good core together have disappeared and the only teams that can afford/withstand the new rules are still the big boys.
How does OKC think they'll keep jdub, chet, giddey, and shai? that's 3 max contracts and another fat rookie extension and they'd be at the 2nd apron with just those 4. seems like a cut off your nose to spite your face type situation.

Dinwiddie being waived. Another guy that the Celtics, Nuggets, Warriors, Clippers, Heat, Bucks, and Suns can't sign. Otoh, Oladipo being waived can be signed by anybody, since his salary is under the MLE.

Just hope MDJ doesn't go get another midget. I am worried that is the plan.

I know there are new rules that make the Dubs ineligible to sign certain waived players. So, who among all these guys who have been waived can the Dubs sign?

I think...
Dubs can't sign anyone whose salary was over the mle at the time of the buyout.

Can he be tried out as a defensive specialist? Shooting is bad but he had some decent assist numbers.
But as a #7 pick he was probably earning more than CoJo was on vet minimum and they moved him mainly for salary cap relief.

Can't sign:
Spencer Dinwiddie
Kyle Lowry
Joe Harris
Davis Bertans
Marcus Morris
Can sign:
James Bouknight
Killian Hayes
Harry Giles
Danilo Gallinari
Robin Lopez
Furkan Korkmaz
Thaddeus Young
Jordan Goodwin

Once he ckears waivers he can be signed for the minimum, which would be prorated for the rest of the season. I havent seen much of him to say whether or not thats a better use of the roster spot over Q. Honestly, havent seen mich of Q either haha.

I just had a dream that we won the game and RoLo had nine rebounds.
Very confused when i woke up that we won without him
