I can see a healthy lineup of :

PG) Luka 6'7"
PG) Kyrie 6'2"
G ) Exum 6'5"
F) PJ Washington 6'7"
C) DLively

6 '10" Gafford
6'5" Green
6'5" THJ
6'10" Maxi
6'6" DJJ

Hardy
Powell

He'll return, play 2 games, then be out for 17. That who Dante Exum was his first NBA stint, and nothing has changed.

It's funny that in Europe, where they actually train in practices, he played over 75 games in a season

What do u think it is about here that makes him so injury prone then? Did he have a coach or maybe trainer there keeping him on track?

Fine, doesn't shift the needle one way or another. I guess OKC are slightly more bullish on their youth paying off but it could be meaningless as well.

Mavs have given up control over their pick 4 years fom 27-30, risky move, but it's the next 3 with Luka and Kyrie that matter.

2 bigs? No more Powell or small ball?
Come on guys, it's a win.

They can't trade Green because Exum is always injuried. No more faith in his health, it's clear.

Their bet is on Luka leaving. Having 7 FRPs in next 2 years makes their bet pretty cheap.

I have no idea , that's why I thought injuries were behind him...maybe it's bad luck,or maybe he Just shouldn't Play more than 20 minutes a game...in Europe I think he played around 25 minutes a game

Yes... NBA is more stressful, probably Exum can't stand with this overload... I hope Green can be still efficient.

What's done is done, the roster is better, clear from all the clutter, only deal that can be considered bad is Maxi's deal, and even then, he's needed as the only stretch 5 on roster.
Time to pay the FO and fans back, we want top 6 seed and deep PO run.

Roster has been definitely upgraded but I have to say 1 quasi-unprotected FRP with high variance + 1 swap is a steep price to pay to turn GWill/Holmes/Curry into Gafford/PJ, especially if we factor in the swap we gave up for Grant last summer.

Yes the 27 pick is very lightly protected, which sucks, but the Mavs got a lot younger, more athletic and better in rebounding...you really think that Luka would be more thrilled with them staying pat and continue to struggle?? They took a gamble ,they had too...Mavs aren't the Lakers, even three firsts round picks wouldn't guarantee they could get a really good Player in the offseason (the Lakers looks like are doing exactly that)...now they at least have solid fonundation of young Players...and Lively and Holmes is a really good C papir, they can definetely share the minutes... they'll be able to Play more agresiven cause now even if they do foul they have an adequate sub... despite the overpay for PJ the future looks vrighter than before ...and it also looks like they'll be doing business in the offseason, they aren't done ter...I like their chances of getting to the playoffs a lot more now than before....btw, if this doesn't work, they miss the playoffs,Kidd has to go in the summer... he's Got what he was asking for, no more excuses

I'd love to bring him back, perfect Kyrie insurance.
