You sound cynical. But Masai has a championship so he knows what he is doing always.

Kris Dunn not getting moved is weird, he could have really helped the Bucks.

Keep in mind Danny Bleepin' Ainge. Dunn is arguably Utah's best perimeter defender and facilitator.

Said in reference to Utah's trade assets in a potential Doncic deal.

I'm disappointed we didn't get a Wiggins trade, I was looking forward to either eating or serving some crow.

Lakers did nothing..

Seems like they will be active in the buyout market.

Dinwiddie seems like an obvious get

Maybe that was only my Wiggins/1st nonsense? Or maybe it was the Knicks but when they could get Bojan/Burks for Grimes instead they took the far better deal?

Lesson is supposed to be fans always believe the highest reported price rumor as the actual value and mostly its not and they shouldn't put that much stock in it, but they will again this summer and next deadline and next summer and so on.....

That was more action that I thought we'd get. I'm relatively satisfied.

Wouldn't mind the draft details on OKC's two deals, though.

Meh. If Brown was only worth a couple of SRPs as it appears, the flexibility is nice

Toronto will either have $40M in cap space if they keep Brown, or $63M if they decline the TO. If they convey the pick they owe to SAS -- likely unless they get top 4 -- the only cap holds they will care about is IQ (only $7m) and a mid FRP. It's a very clean cap sheet, without the risk of having to overpay a corpse just to get to the minimum like Detroit.

I've got complaints about Masai, particularly leaving the backup PG role unfilled on a team trying to compete 2021-2023, but this TDL the cap management is pretty solid

Could well be that the rumoured FRP was from NYK, and I think the deal they made with Detroit is better value for NYK

So Philly is down just 2 2nds, cleared some more cap space next summer, ducked over 5m down (I think its 7-8m down?) in salary to get both out of the lux tax and have buy out space, and improved for this year.

I have to say for a completely non needle moving deadline, the Springer deal moved it to an A- anyway, maybe even a (pathetic) A.

I’m very confused by LAL. And a few other teams. But mostly LAL.

(GS, Toronto, Utah, Miami, Orlando, Washington.. more.. should have done something or more)

Must have been from the same team that was reportedly offering a first for Victor Oladipo during his first Rockets tenure

I think they will be active in buyout market.. maybe adding 2 buyouts and waiving one of their players..

So for them to drop below lux tax and do that would have cost them a lot of draft compensation IMO

My favourite quote from the "Spencer Dinwiddie Appreciation" thread on the Raptor's board

Another deadline where well managed teams find ways to improve despite limited resources while the Warriors sit back and do nothing to address the numerous clear roster deficiencies.

Right on cue we'll pivot to talking about all the big moves we're going to make in the offseason and then not do anything then either.

sad that I again have some faith in Dallas’ chances with a free agent? Recent good history, pretty good chemistry with Luka..

if this is Spencer related, he turned a flamethrower on Dallas after he was traded. Now he always does this, so I'm not sure it actually means anything towards his openness to a return. Clearly Dallas understands that its just him being him.

I want to know if Marcus would sign if we waived his brother? 8-) I know we have a spot for both atm, but say they did sign Spencer. Could we trade the useless twin for the slightly less useless one?
