I'm not going to lie - I'm definitely not happy about the FO doing nothing, but there are far too many teams that should have been blowing their rosters up this TD that instead held tight for no reason - so I place a lot of this incredibly underwhelming TD on those teams and little less on ours.

In all seriousness. We need Weltman outta here. I held onto the hope that we werent making moves because we werent ready in previous seasons. I wasnt expecting a hone run trade this yr either. But Fultz & 2 2nd rounders for Tyus Jones is too much to ask for???

Aaron Gordon & Evan Fournier saved his job when they forced him to trade them & thus moved Vuc also.

If it wasnt for that, he wouldve been gone already.

They should've at least grabbed Jones.

We will get Jones this summer if we really want him. Multiple seconds was a stupid price, almost as stupid as frp.

Guess they want to see what these young guys are capable of in a playoff setting. I am interested too, no idea how their game is going to translate. It’d be nice if it wasn’t against the Celtics or..gulp…in the play in.

It could be worse, could be a Bulls or Hawks fan with no sense of direction.

At the same time if the plan is to re-sign Fultz and Harris I might lose it. Fultz had (made) his shot, he’s not going to fit with this core. This summer will be time to turn the page, and find someone who will help this team win playoff games, and that is going to involve knocking down some open threes.

But the thing is, since roster is now healthy our roster isn't all that young ,nor inexperienced.

Aside from Franz , Suggs & Paolo you have:

7th year center
7th year PG

7th year backup PF
36 years old vet
30 years old vet
6th year center

They aren't old by any means , but we don't really play Black nor Jett, and other than first 3 names I mentioned, whole bench is bunch of very experienced players and Cole, who, himself, is in his 4th year (and turns 24 in few months).

So if you add some experience, you would only inhance playoff chances. Chances of Black & Jett playing serious min going forward are not any better now than they were hour ago ,where at least team would be serious about making playoffs.
Now, we are somwhere in between. Not playing young players but also might not make playoffs if we face better organized team in playin.

Well, I'm thinking this means we are going to re-sign Goga, and trade WCJ during the summer. Otherwise, why hold onto Goga and let him walk?

Even if there was good FAs this front office was not going to sign any of them. They will sign some old player on his way out of the league to his last paychecks for “veteran leadership”, make their first round pick, sell the seconds for cash and we will listen to Weltman go on about continuity and evaluation.

Why? Who gives a ****.

We resign Goga so he can watch Carter waive people by under the rim and take 6 3's a game??

He isnt getting minutes. Carter would have been moved now if this was the case.

THANK YOU! The “we are young” excuse is so BS. Our best players are, sure, but the players surrounding them are just mid or crap players that can’t shoot and the FO just absolutely refuses to do anything about it.

Comon, we are not going to make a trade because of a trade.

Maybe something is going on and the management decided to roll with this group.

We can have a huge summer and this team very much reminds me of pre Donovan Mitchell Cleveland.

We have all the assets to make a super star trade. Draft picks, cap space and talented young players.

But I hate waiting, man

I called this days ago, I really don’t think there were any moves to be made. Even the trades made at the deadline were marginal at best.

Yeah, if we re-sign Fultz nothing will make sense anymore. My #1 fan wish is to have AB take over the starting job.

I’d love for AB to claim the position and run with it, and I do believe he eventually will.

Until then, I’d much rather then add Deangelo Russell than bring back a starting PG incapable of even attempting a three. And I have been a Russell hater over the years, but he fits with this team far more than Fultz, or even Black(as a starter) at the moment.

Xatticus made the right move. Now, maybe he did it because of Chet but the reality is, if you choose a team Presti is running, it should be a good time.

I knew they weren’t making a move yet I’m still angry because they are a bunch of lazy buffoons.

Funnily enough, a lot of the OKC fans are not happy about the Hayward move.

Really? What was the price for Cleveland to land Donovan Mitchell? Btw we could go after LeBron this summer. I said “could”. How did Milwaukee land Damian Lillard? What about Atlanta landing DeJounte Murray? Simple, first round picks and young players. Isn’t Jalen Suggs good enough to be a big trade assets? Isn’t Wendell Carter good enough to be a big assets? What about AB and Jett? Yes, we have what it takes, man. We just need the right opportunity poping up for us
