They should not be. They need veteran players on that team.

Xatticus made the right move. Now, maybe he did it because of Chet but the reality is, if you choose a team Presti is running, it should be a good time.

If they hand out the deals Im expecting them to this offseason I'll probably follow suit.

They are trolling us at this point.

You cant have a bottom ranked 3 pt shooting team for 5+ seasons and fail to address the issue every year while other organizations move scraps for solutions.

Agreed. "Unseasoned chicken" type trade deadline tbh.

We'll see if not making trades this season was the best strategy for this season. I can definitely see the frustration from folks on here though.

Yeah, but they are pretty short on actual big men and need some size on their team. Jdub and Wiggins have been playing pretty well at the forward spot as well as some others, so it's an upgrade, but they still have some holes.

The most frustrating thing will end up being if the FO ends up saying we don’t have the roster space to make both or either of this years firsts and end up selling them down the road for worse future assets. Surely we could have gotten involved in Grimes or some other young potential rotation player.

Consolidate.

All I know is I better not hear alot **** talked about Coach Mosely during this 2nd half of the season.

He has our team constantly overperforming, in spite of the awful roster construction we have.

All of our anger should go first & foremost to management. They're ridiculous.

"Weltgawd" more like buffoon.

Do you think Weltman and Hammond knew that the trade deadline was today? I'm pretty sure they were out on the Winter Park golf course and the minute they got back in the car and heard the sports talk radio come on they smashed the mute button.

This trade wasn't some conspiracy - it was just a GM wanting AD bad enough where in most people's eyes he overpaid by a long shot to get him.

Maybe something is going on and the management decided to roll with this group.

We can have a huge summer and this team very much reminds me of pre Donovan Mitchell Cleveland.

We have all the assets to make a super star trade. Draft picks, cap space and talented young players.

But I hate waiting, man

No. We dont.

Go back to asking why we arent going after Giannis and Lebron because you are in fantasy land.

Really? What was the price for Cleveland to land Donovan Mitchell? Btw we could go after LeBron this summer. I said “could”. How did Milwaukee land Damian Lillard? What about Atlanta landing DeJounte Murray? Simple, first round picks and young players. Isn’t Jalen Suggs good enough to be a big trade assets? Isn’t Wendell Carter good enough to be a big assets? What about AB and Jett? Yes, we have what it takes, man. We just need the right opportunity poping up for us

Then you are a fool if you think trading Jalen Suggs is the answer to landing some allstar player to a team that hasn't even made the playoffs yet. And no, they aren't' yet because of the size of their contracts and the limited assets elsewhere. Orlandos picks aren't in the lotto anymore. This is pretty basic stuff here.

None of those players you listed are even thinking about Orlando as a destination until they have sustained postseason progress. Orlando can't even break away from teams playing a zone on them defensively because of their issues on offense.

I wish I was as naive as you

That Xatticus change seemed like insanity…

Of course, I told my son this year who recently has become obsessed with football, that he should just be a fan of the good teams or football in general, so he doesn’t have to go through the ebbs and flows and still unlikely to ever see his team win a championship.

I should probably take my own advice, and there is probably not a better team to choose than OKC.

Why? Who gives a ****.

We resign Goga so he can watch Carter waive people by under the rim and take 6 3's a game??

He isnt getting minutes. Carter would have been moved now if this was the case.

Well...I did also say TRADE CARTER.

Completely agree, love the “Unseasoned chicken” analogy. Hoping for some trades in the offseason. If not, folks will be really hot than they already are.

Yeah it would have been done at THIS deadline were to actually happen after the rumors floated out there earlier this year.

Worth noting that Hammond isn’t the GM anymore, it’s Candace Parker’s brother.

I can never switch sides on the Orlando Magic. That's my team.

However if we simultaneously dont make any serious moves during the offseason/resign Fultz, there's a good chance I just stop watching most Magic games like from 2017-2020.

It's so unbearbly annoying watching our team lose every game because teams can just run a zone on us because our shooting is awful

We dont change teams in Europe. I would rather not watch nba at all than cheer for any other team. Real man can endure tougher times, boys can watch tik tok or Lakers.
My money is on Banchero going number 1 !

I watched the Fournier-Vuc years, I can definitely stomach Franz-Paolo leading our team.

I’m still on the Tre Mannwagon so I’m hoping Charlotte finds a way to revive him.

Return to Orlando Magic
