WCJ shooting definitely makes it easier to start AB.

I just dont think that having a big man compensate for a guard's perimeter play is the answer. Having a C that can shoot 3's is certainly a good thing, but it doesn't "cover" the backcourt weakness...unless your guards can rim-protect and grab 10 boards.

If Coles role doesn’t improve and I doubt it does, wouldn’t be shocked if he asked to be moved in summer.

send him to Washington (for Tyus) or Memphis (for Kennard) NOW

Cole + Chuma works in both scenarios

I’m not sure if he has that in him, the fact that he was downgraded to a 6th, and still extended an affordable extension, i think he knows he is a dying breed. Undersize guards arent valuable anymore

The Magic now have been “blown out” (15+ point loss) 11 times this season, ties Detroit.

That's a surprising stat especially since they still have a positive point differential. It's on life support now though. How about some home games...

It's a given, most of the nights we can't score more than 105- ish points top.
So if team adjusts to our defense and scores 120 points, we just lose ugly.

Add Heat game and we are 3-11 in games when opponents score 120 or more points.
2 out of 3 wins are against Wizards and third win against- Nuggets

The Magic has 9 wins of 15+ and has totaled 14 wins of 10+.

In general, the standard deviation of NBA games is soaring this year. That is, games are rarely close anymore, in statistical terms. This is a trend that started about only small years ago, I believe.

The pepe view on this is that if a team is down 15+ in the 4th, players give up saving energy for the next game (why ris a star getting injured so the team can lose by 5 instead of 15 - sort of thing). I haven't seen an analysis on this, nut it would explain the data.

Scoring is a problem for this team so it can get out of hand.

We also have the most tired/B2B/B2B away games in the league tied with.. Detroit.

General take on our starting lineup...

Defense-only backcourt and offense-only frontcourt is ineffective...unconventional - for a good reason.

Defensive-minded Center to anchor the TEAM's defense would outweigh the loss of Carter's amazing  offensive contributions.

Adding a guy like Murray would actually make our point of attack defense even better while still moving our offense to the next level. Where do you find that kind of no-compromise opportunity? Give them what they want. We'd be much improved overall with a more offense-capable PG even if they played zero defense... Murray puts up 20ppg :banghead:

Don't be scared of a fierce competitor with an edge ORL. Let the rest of the league dread facing him and Suggs every year.

THIS is what Paolo should be doing...He's a better scorer and shooter than Zion, just not as freakishly athletic or fragile:

"I'm having a lot of fun. I got a lot of shooters out there and they gonna knock the shots down"

Point Zion in the win: 21 PTS, 10 AST, 2 BLK

If they were asking for Herb Jones from NO, I can see them asking for Suggs. Not doing that.

Either of these players can be waived at any time, eliminating their part of the cap hold.

oh I know just don't think either get waived and was mainly pointing how much cap space we now have for friends and family deals.
