You are not someone special like Nostradamus.. stop doing that to yourself. No one can predict any outcome. Have you predicted the rise of the Warrioris dynasty? Or did you ever predicted the #8 seed Knicks would go all the way to the Finals? Nope not a chance.. our chances will not only depend on our lineup BUT also the other team’s performance.. dont forget that!

I will guarantee you that the Bulls will fight for a play-in spot and IF they make it they will lose and not make the playoffs and IF by some miracle they make the playoffs they'll be bounced round 1.

Those other examples you used were all outcomes that were unpredictable and unprecedented. This is the same team it has been for 3 years with the same results.

I did predict that the Bulls would do nothing at the deadline, because it's the same thing they've done for 2 straight deadlines before this one. So maybe I do have a little Nostradamus in me, or maybe it was just easy to predict based on past events.

If the Bulls employed my 25 year old thrift store toaster as their POBO for the last 2 years it would have done the same exact job as AK. Are you truly enjoying having a sub 500 team with a singular (1) player worth keeping? Good lord. Keep buying tickets I guess.

There is only one team to be crowned champs! The rest are all losers after each season.. you think if we traded for picks now we would be contenders right away? I bet you not.. we will need the same strike of luck.

What!? Do you even understand what you're saying? Trading for picks is for a chance at being a contender in the future, not straight away.

Did not trading for picks (or anything for that matter) make the Bulls a contender right away?

Trading for picks doesn't make you a contender in the future and as long as the Bulls are not trading anymore of their future picks right now Im ok with them not doing anything at this deadline because I would have a couple of our own picks and be competitive with some salary flexibility than trade players I like for bad contracts and a few draft picks and outright stink. The nba is getting more younger but also more raw so I can see another path to contention status if its done correctly.

He's just a role player who's starting because he doesn't have real competition.
He should get something around Felicio's contract of 32/4.
But you'll likely say the salary cap raised since then.
Not sure why people are so high on just a role player like him,I can understand extending Coby but Pat at 60/4??

Not a Pat fan whatsoever, but if you think he'll get anything under 60/4 more likely 80+/4 your going to be sorely surprised. I'd rather see him at like 40/4 but it just wont happen, other teams have shown interest before and now he is starting to play better with Coby/Ayo at the helm.

So you believe he can get a better contract than Coby? :o

I do. Not only do I believe it, I expect it.

Of course! Thing is you don’t have a clue how these GM works.. no one from this forum does and includes you! Do you even read news? There was no offer that could make us trade any of our guys to start with! So you want to trade Zach for picks? Now how about salary match? Let go Dre for what some 2nd picks in 4-5 years? What you are saying is a reflective of how much you have a feel for this game.. zero! Stop acting like Nostradamus man.. It makes you look stupid TBH..

Is this how you guys live your lives? The best or nothing?

My house needs work. Burn it to the ground.

My wife and I had an argument. Instant divorce.

My kid got a C+ in math. Fire that teacher

Seems like a real good recipe for being miserable...

When AK arrived, he was trade happy, and traded all our future draft capital for B list stars. Im actually scared **** that next year after we hand over our pick to SA and our debt sheet is finally clean again, he will start back doing that same thing

I don't live in Chicago but I go to Bulls games when they come to Denver. And I'll continue to because I'm actually a fan of the team.

And yeah I'm enjoying not being the worst team in the league like we have been so many times before. Imagine that.

How does staying the current course make the Bulls contenders?

So basically: no picks.

It's like trying to buy something from somebody but they don't accept money.

Oooh man, this is tough.

But he also is not trying to send out anymore picks either so I can see them wanting to play this out and stay on a competitive trajectory with Coby. It doesn't mean we are not gonna still move Zach or we are 100% certain to bring back Demar it simply means you play out the string and come summer you reassess starting on draft day .

There is more than one way to skin this cat

IMO Caruso might have less trade value this offseason because he’s in an expiring contract and he’s putting up career high shooting percentages so far this season.

We’ll see how it plays out, but the writing is on the wall. The Bulls need a reset.

The Bulls dont need a reset we need to see the team through to its natural conclusion we always want to wipe the board cleans and in todays nba that simply doesn't work because the players are too young and raw now.

To me trading Caruso for a pick and a bad MLE signing we cant use and dont want on a 4 year deal is not worth it just for an extra late rd pick.

If a team today was saying oh yeah we want Caruso but all we have is this garbage but we will give you this late 1st rd pick that doesnt help us right now or even next year. I can come back on draft day after the draft board has been set and then decide who we actually want and make a targeted approach.

He is since he traded a future all nba player away

He just like GMs who praised for acquiring them then he should be grilled.

NBA fan logic we need to trade one of two best players because (Player X) one needs to shine more.

The team should be selling not buying. You need assets to get better through trades, the Bulls don't have any.

I agree that this is what they should do. But if you're AK and you think this roster is actually pretty good, then it's also malpractice to have done nothing to improve it. The whole standing pat thing when you're 'the 9 seed and reliant on a lot of short-term players is lunacy.

We don't rebuild and we don't do anything to make the team better. AKME's decision making, or lack thereof, should offend fans on both sides of the aisle, whether you're pro-rebuild or pro-playoff push.

Anyway you look it, they're incompetent.

That is NOT how the Reinsdorfs operate lol. When AKME were signed that came with a minimum 10 year cushion of job security.

Again with the Vuc hate. He's a good player. Pat Williams on the other hand...still remains to be seen. I think it's more likely that Pat ends up with a decent career as a role player but I doubt he ever breaks out. Would love to be wrong about that, though.
