No, Dinwiddie is not a wing.

Yes we all know that. Please give us a name of a wing you would like them to sign.

Exum has still played more games than max. player Kyrie. ;) But interesting enough nobody complains about his availability. I guess max. player has some privilege, which minimum players hasn't.

Your a prime example of minimum players getting privilege....you havent said Exums injury is fake once.

Maybe because Exum has no reason to fake anything on minimum contract, and we know what kind of staff has Kyrie pulled in his professional career already.

Like the other poster has said we all get upset when Iriving is out, but how can you not grasp that star players are treated differently than minimum contract players?

Yes, but we are talking about the buyout market and your acting like Spencer would be here for the next decade.

By fans? Exum has beat expectations by far already, what is very difficult to say for Kyrie.

When your expectations are zero its not hard. I like Exum and want to see him back, but cmon Bob your acting like this dude is the savior of the season.

No, this debate developed because Marvelous proposed to simply give near ThJ money to Dinwiddie after this season, because he's supposedly more reliable.

Dinwiddie will come here only, if they give him a promise about new contract. And Mavs can and will probably give him that.

Pretty sure there isnt a long history of buyouts/waived players making a large sum of money on their next contract. If there is please let know.

Thanks

Having starter on a minimum contract for 2 seasons could be pretty important, especially if he can play D like Exum can. They can get someone solid with the money they're saving on him.

So how do you think conversation with Dinwiddie goes? We don't promise you playing time, because we're pretty full with guards and we don't promise you anything for next season, but just come in, you will have great time with friends on the bench. And after that we will wish you great luck in finding new team. Or maybe Dinwiddie and his friend Kidd and Nico are having a little more constructive conversation from Dinwiddie's point of view?

When comes back it will be interesting to see if he starts as they know he's made of popsicle sticks.

He was playing 2 seasons with over 70 games in Europe, so maybe last injury might be only bad luck.

Bob,

As you like to point out Kyrie misses time and we know exum does as well so right there alone is enough. His conversation with the Lakers is probably exactly the same. Where is Holiday????? Oh hes on another team cuz alot of these buyouts end up moving on after the year is over.

Maybe, maybe he's just not meant to Play that many minutes... he's a minimum signing,he should be playing 15-20 min tops... offcourse more when he's on fire, but normaly he should just ease the load of Luka and Kyrie...but since he and Kyrie are injured a lot Luka gets to carry a heavier load....this is where Dinwiddie would come in handy, since neither Hardy or Green are facilitators

I have a feeling that Dinwiddie has a little different relationship with Kidd&co. than Holiday. But that really doesn't matter, conversation was, who would people rather keep for similar money, Dinwiddie or THJ?

Or his injury is just bad luck, like with numerous Nba players.

According to reports Mavs have 1 spot open and they are trying to decide between Dinwiddie and Marcus Morris.

Who cares you're acting like they are signing him up to be a 20-25mil a year starter. He knows he's a bench player regardless if its on the Mavs or the Lakers.
