One Morris is enough,no need for the second... Dinwiddie would help more

These two are official and Dinwiddie's personal trainer believes he'll sign with Mavs.

Maybe, maybe he's just not meant to Play that many minutes... he's a minimum signing,he should be playing 15-20 min tops... offcourse more when he's on fire, but normaly he should just ease the load of Luka and Kyrie...but since he and Kyrie are injured a lot Luka gets to carry a heavier load....this is where Dinwiddie would come in handy, since neither Hardy or Green are facilitators

Or his injury is just bad luck, like with numerous Nba players.

Like when someone lands on your leg????

And you get non structural injury, with which Nba players on average are missing 2 games? ;)

Bob,

As you like to point out Kyrie misses time and we know exum does as well so right there alone is enough. His conversation with the Lakers is probably exactly the same. Where is Holiday????? Oh hes on another team cuz alot of these buyouts end up moving on after the year is over.

I have a feeling that Dinwiddie has a little different relationship with Kidd&co. than Holiday.

Who cares you're acting like they are signing him up to be a 20-25mil a year starter. He knows he's a bench player regardless if its on the Mavs or the Lakers.

I'm not acting anything, conversation was simple, who Mavs for similar money need more for the next season, THJ or Dinwiddie? And interesting enough, at least for me, people would like Dinwiddie more.

No body knows if Dinwiddie will be here next year. Can cross that bridge when it happens.

What medical advice? I gave you just statistics. You can do with that whatever you want.

You heard interview with him, when he says he's extra careful about his body and injuries?

Conversation wasn't about, if he will be here or not, but who need Mavs more.

You do realize what the team says the injury is and what it actually is can be two different things right?

Dinwiddie sitting next to Pelinka at the Lakers game...seems like he's decided where he's gonna sign

I really hope they sign SD. But I also hope they don't make him too much of a promise for next season. We have other problems than backup pg.

They also would sign him for ball handling and making shots. I think we can neglect the defense here for a backup spot. On the other hand bis current season is absolutely trash. I really hope it was just because of a turbulent nets season and not because he is going to be washed.

But again. For a buyout guy you can do the gamble but please don't promise him any long even slightly overpaid contract. It is already going to be tough to trade for us next off season

Agree .

SD is the better player available from FA for sure but we are pretty stacked in his position.
I prefer another wing.

But ehy, After Nico traded for a PF and a backup C i can't say anything. Maybe he will make the right move again.

Dallas can't offer Dinwiddie a huge deal or even a THJ type deal. They can offer him 5.4 million this year, they won't have his bird rights next year so they can only offer him something along the lines of mle money, so probably 12 million a year at most. And THJ, if not traded, will also have to be resigned in 2025, but mavs will have his bird rights so they will be able to offer him a huge contract- I'm more afraid of that, at least they are limited in what they can offer SD.

Who would I rather have? THJ at 16 mil per year or Dinwiddie at 12? I'd be most happy with Dinwiddie at 10 per year and THJ traded for a star...

Dallas can offer Dinwidde 24/4, what's left from the MLE.
Better than getting TPMLE, BAE, less than MLE.
Depends on his market, I think he'll take his chances in FA.
Defense wins draft lotteries!
