Marcus Sasser has gotten 38 and 32 mins of playing time in Detroit's last 2 games and they've won both. Detroit has consistently looked a lot better when he gets the chance to contribute yet their idiotic franchise has relegated him to the bench far too much when you can make an argument he's the best guard on their entire team and waiting to explode. Jalen Duren pairs perfectly with him as someone who can help mask the lack of rebounding.

Sasser can create his own shot from deep and the midrange, jack up volume 3's and nail them as good as anyone in the league and is flashing major ability as a passer making the right reads and protecting the ball with a 3.25:1 assist to turnover ratio.

would you trade for him if they gave up 2 future FRPs with him?

2 Unprotected, near term Washington picks? I’d think long and hard

Throw in a swap in the middle? Definitely

exactly. 2 unprotected picks. probably no swap lol

Anyone else really excited in a schadenfreude kind of way to see the Sixers 2 and 8 in their last ten and a couple games from the play-in? Yep, I thought so!

Sixers have the 11th toughest schedule for remaining games.

Let the plummet continue!

The only thing that bothers me is that they already have their annual "Joel wasn't healthy in the playoffs" excuse when they inevitably lose in the 2nd round again (at best).

Normally I’d be all for that but that means Indiana overtakes them :banghead:

I think I hate them enough that I'm just fine with that sacrifice.

12 pts, 7 rebounds tonight. Undrafted, on a 2 way.

Raps? Let's not acquire a 2nd round pick . . . again. Lets give Marquis Nowell a 2 way!

Edit: 19 pts, 10 rebounds for Council. Why post this? To highlight the opportunities to rebuild are there. Some will work, others won't.
