Sure if you look at only his performance this season but we all know players fluctuate season to season and in this case team to team. That's where the "buy low" term comes from and all I'm saying is that we had nothing to lose with this approach.

Look at his career! Sheesh.

So it's just a fluke that every contender lined up to sign Dinwiddie asap. Of course I looked at his career. It's you that clearly hasnt and are just basing everything from this season lol.

He was a massive part of the Mavs team that went to the conference finals and had to step up when Luka missed most of the 1st round against the Jazz. Yup, clearly not talented enough to even get a chance to be on this team lol.

Dude, we’re not making the playoffs. The trade was just a salary dump.

What? He's a career 41% and 33% shooter which are both far below average. Why the **** would you want him eating any minutes let alone Barnes PG minutes. Why don't they just light themselves on fire while they are at it. And lol yourself.

And this team didn't even need to pay the extra 1.5 for a PG that would be about the 13th player on the team, let alone having him be miserable sitting there if they decided not to play him.

Not sure why you would rather have that, he'd be taking time away from our young guys, and expecting to play minutes unlike Justice.

What's the difference between Brown and Olynyk taking those same minutes? Dinwiddie was starting and was struggling in that role but would have been a backup here. He's had many good years as a backup and maybe it could have worked out here.

Even if it didn't then we could have still waived him down the road with nothing to really lose here. Just hate Lakers adding someone for free because of us lol.

Dinwiddie isn’t a guy you want on a rebuilding team. He doesn’t fit here and would just take shots from our young players.

Signing Justise Winslow feels like a move we made in 2019/2020 season.

I like it if only for the fact that we can throw him out there as an on-ball defender for spot minutes to take some pressure off Scottie. Having Barnes be our best primary wing defender as well as expecting him to go out and be our primary offensive threat is just not going to work out in terms of our offensive expectations of him- it's too much.

That's something we definitely miss from having OG - hoping Agbaji and Winslow can off-set that a little at least for the short term.
